Does this receiver support earc? that is audio like dolby truehd is sent from the tv to the receiver over hdmi arc and decoded to the speakers?

The “4k upscale“ gives me a fuzzy picture on all sources, is there a known problem with upscale? (the default setting is on)

I'm using a 4K HDMI cable I don't have that problem at all picture looks great I run my cable box through it

How would I hook up my equalizer to this unit?

You can’t. EQ’s require an amp that has a loop built into it. Most all in one receivers don’t have this feature.

Can zone B control a second set of speakers and does their volume track with the main zone?

Yes they can. I have B wired into a speaker select switch and I can select between my outside speakers or my speakers in the kitchen.
