Works very well especially for Large dogs
I bought this for my hyperactive pitbull because he gets so excited with the outside world and he needed to get groomed but immediately he loved the taste and it works very well on Large dogs like pitbulls and we used it 3 times and he loved it every time but it does tend to last 4-6 hours depending on size

Awesome Chews for dogs that don’t like thunderstorms!
I purchased these chews for my dog that doesn’t like thunderstorms and fireworks and they have done an excellent job! The trick is to give your pet the chew at least 2 hours before a forecasted thunderstorm so that it gets into their system. I didn’t want to give my dog Benadryl out of fear of giving him to much. I like the fact that these chews makes my pet relaxed but not “out of it” and the chews leaves the dog’s system quickly. My dog weighs 72# and one chew at a time per event has worked wonders!

These work for anxiety
My dog has separation anxiety so these help her while I am away for a few hours. She's still alert and playful as seen on the baby cam but not barking or chewing or zoomies.

Doesn't work for my papillon
I've gotten this a couple times over the past couple years. I have a papillon who is terrified of thunderstorms and fireworks, and at this point I think he has some kind of PTSD because of the fireworks in my area, loud and goes on for 3 months every summer. It's 330am as I write this, he is against my leg just shaking and panting. I tried to go to bed, but he basically climbs on my head, shaking in terror. I gave him one of these chews about an hour and a half ago. Storms to continue til 9am, it's going to be a long night.

Only thing that worked
My German Shepherd is terrified of storm and fireworks. I have tried Trazadone, Sileo, Ace, Valium,CBD, thunder shirt, tent, ear muffs. Nothing worked, he was trying to dig into floors and shook uncontrollably. I tried this on a recommendation, what did I have to lose at this point. To my surprise it worked amazing. No shaking, pacing, digging, trying to get under furniture. Instead he has been playing with his toys or resting right through storms. This is a game changer. I can’t believe something so simple works so great. I highly recommend this!

These work fine to calm my Malinois during thunderstorms.
My Belgian Malinois (AKA Maligator) can be a very scary girl to strangers and anyone she doesn't know if she isn't around me, my Sweetie or a good friend of mine who stays on my property. And as a former Military Veteran like myself, she's been around. When I adopted her I was told she saw action overseas as well as spending time as a K9 for a LEO agency here in AZ, so we have things in common. But it wasn't until the summer monsoons started up that I learned how MUCH we have in common. I was born in AZ and am familiar with the racket the monsoon can bring with the thunder and I've been around a LOT of shooting and cannon fire, but unless it is coming MY way, I'm not too bothered by it. (Just don't creep up behind me.)Evidently, my Pup, Lana, doesn't fare so well with the noises, though, because as soon as the thunder starts, she becomes VERY skittish and cannot stay still. She wants to hide and I can appreciate that.It turns out we both have PTS but she doesn't know how to work hers out so I bought theses chews hoping to give her some relief. It turns out that if I give her three, she gets pretty mellow as long as my Sweetie or I can hold her and rub her ears. Four chews and she is a catatonic zombie and I won't do that to her.So, YES, I can recommend these chews if your Pup is skittish around loud noises but read the instructions and administer per the directions. Lana should get four based on weight (She's a BIG Maligator for her size!) but like I said, I don't want her to be totally doped up.These also work around the 4th of July and New Years when people set off fireworks.Give them a try. I think they might solve most problems for Pups with fears of loud noises and probably other fears like riding in a car when going on vacation and such.Good Luck and Good Health to your Pup.H and Lana.

It kind of works
I've tried multiple products. I think this is so far the best that has worked for my dog. It does calm him, but he's still a bit anxious during thunderstorms. It at least keeps him from panting and walking back and forth. He's also more willing to go lay down rather than walk around the house shaking and potentially peeing due to being nervous. Also, this works when you also want your dog to get used to a sleeping schedule. Due to so many failed products, I gave up and resorted to taking my dog upstairs with supervision every time there were thunderstorms. He is allowed to free roam but not upstairs for safety reasons. This caused him to become confused on the rules as I had already trained him not to go upstairs. I gave him this a few nights when he started crying and chewing things randomly at night because he wanted to go upstairs despite no thunderstorms or fireworks. After a few days, this calmed him down and got him back to the schedule and rules. He's a lot calmer and I don't give it to him unless there are heavy thunderstorms or fireworks. I'm thankful that this somehow worked. Don't expect your dog to suddenly be impervious to thunderstorms. I think this does help to calm down some behaviors like panting profusely, shaking, walking around too much, etc.

Less reactive
I’m pleasantly surprised at the results. My 10 month old Cavalier was difficult to calm, day or night. Often barked and was afraid/reactive to sounds, deer, birds, rabbits, reflections. Became worse when he was stressed after adding a new puppy to the home. I noticed a difference right away. He was less reactive, easier to calm when he did react. Slept better at night. Just all around easier to be around. So glad I found these! Worth a try. My pup is 14.5 lbs. He is fussy and takes these treats easily. It works best when I give him one right at bedtime.

WORKS well!
This is the 2nd calming chew I have tried for my 2 JRTs. It works better than another brand, though it doesn’t eradicate the anxiety & stress entirely. I doubt anything will entirely take it away, but we definitely notice a significant effect compared to another brand.
