Village HatsPackable Cotton Boonie Hat - Putty

I have difficulty getting hats that are a comfortable fit in my XXL head, so I was delighted to find this one - and it fits perfectly! As a result I've worn it throughout the current heat wave and it has been comfortable and suitably protective, my only very minor complaint being that it's possibly just a little bit floppy, but I soon got used to that. It appears to be of good quality and even stayed on my head during a recent gale when I deployed the chin strap. Excellent.

Excellent hat for the summer. It actually fits my small head and is so cool to wear. The brim holds whatever shape one requires. It is of cotton, washable and no chemicals, all in all exactly what I needed.

fits but the brim is a little limp, quite thick cotton, so should last but may not be that cool. not yet tested so time will tell

I have an expensive hat that is being replaced, and I needed a temporary one to fill in. This is really surprisingly good, and is very comfortable. Will go back when family need sun hats! Very pleased

I'm a postie, as my hair is thinning now (61)doesn't take long for the sun to start burning my head, this hat does the job and quite a wide brim so no need for sun glasses!!

Stitching around the rim came undone. Had only had under a year and not received too much wear. Would expect a product like this to have a much longer lifespan. Would not purchase from this company (Village Hats) again. Had emailed Jaxon and James/Village Hats: They informed to make contact via Amazon. Subsequently contacted the company (Village Hats) via Amazon: Response was unhelpful and dismissive.

A fraction tight. Otherwise good quality, well constructed. A bit thick when used for long periods in mid-30 degree heat.
