Five Stars So Far
I am giving The Force 1800 a conditional 5 stars. I have used it twice and so far it has performed exactly as expected. Please note that I give it 5 stars as an electric power washer/the category of pressure washer. it should be very low maintenance and can reliably be used on the spot without any prep or start up maintenance (just plug in power and water, and go). But it does not have the same 'Force' as the gas powered models. If you have a large, ground/baked in dirt area, this unit will do it but requiring much more time. But my with current needs I much prefer the ease and portability of this electric unit.So far I have washed a pool cool deck, part of a screen room frame and screen, and a small section of a sidewalk. The results were good and It definitely got the job done. The Force 1800 is a compact unit and has a plastic outside look to it, however, for this price point and size of the unit it feels solid and durable. I was drawn to the 'follow me' lay flat nature of it and that has paid off so far. Lack of 'mid spray' movement and tipping over potential of larger units can drive someone crazy. While the follow me doesn't necessarily zip right along with you, I think the balance struck between movement and staying where you want it to is good.I wish it came with a longer spray attachment (maybe a half a foot longer) to use when I am washing surfaces that can handle it being up as close as the minimum required distance. For me it would make a larger, more time consuming jobs less stressful on the back. Regardless, so far I am very pleased with this unit. If you are looking for a pressure washer to perform routine small jobs (spray patio furniture, spray a small outside wall area, wash a car etc), one to three times a year larger job of cleaning the house or the driveway (these jobs will definitely be more time consuming with an electric model), and you want a unit that is low maintenance-takes up little room-puts away neatly, I think this Force 1800 is a very solid choice.

and the detergent bottle seemed like it would break off in no time
My initial impression when unpacking and assembling the pressure washer was that I made a mistake buying this thing. aside from the hose fittings, everything else is all plastic. The adjustable angle nozzle wasn't very smooth going through it's adjustment, and the detergent bottle seemed like it would break off in no time. Another huge upset which I was most excited for was that you couldn't attach the detergent and brush together, which defeats the whole purpose of the brush. Unless you brush your teeth without toothpaste, then it'll probably make more sense. So with dim hopes, I hooked it up and began using it. I figured I'd put it through a hell of an endurance test so that if it overheated and shut down, that would be the final nail in the coffin. So I put it upto pressure washing my car and (very muddy) ATV. This meant running the pressure washer almost continuously for a good hour. Impressively, it never quit. Going through all but the brush attachments, they all worked well, and the binding nozzle wasn't a noticeable issue in use. The relatively small detergent bottle also went further than expected, coating both the car and ATV with a little extra to spare. The only gripe I had was that the angled nozzle sprays in all sorts of directions, with no clear pattern. I assume that's from defects from the molding process as the opening is plastic. However, it still worked well, and allowed me to clean in areas I otherwise wouldn't be able to reach with a normal nozzle. The output pressure wasn't anything impressive, about par for any typical electric pressure washer, but I'm using it strictly for vehicles - not looking to strip paint off.The on board attachment storage is nice, however there's only room for 4 of the 5 available attachments. Still better than nothing. So if you're looking for an affordable pressure washer with a lot of attachments and features, and can sacrifice a little build quality and max pressure output, I'd recommend this. If you're hard on your tools or careless, I don't see this lasting long. For my purposes, this struck a good balance.
