Coleman Small Glass Replacement Globe for Fueled Lanterns, Glass Globe for Smaller Coleman Lanterns

This globe is a little smaller than the original globe on my coleman 226 and looks to be of a thinner glass. Its not frosted as the original but it fits and works and the price was inexpensive. I dont know how long it will last but if you need a globe for a 226 in a hurry and cheap...this one works 100%.

Glass lantern globes don't work unless they fit, these do. Meets original product specs (my model was listed compatible with this product) You might consider ordering two because these do get broken if you're not very careful handling, storing and transporting them. Hint: A. 2 liter. Gatorade bottle can be cut, shaped and lined with thin closed cell foam to form a very functional protective case for the smaller sized lanterns that use this size globe.

This is not what it was advertised to be. It's the wrong size! Secondly, by the time you return it etc you're out more money. What a Ripoff.

Perfect fit for unknown single mantle propane lantern. Fit my mystery single mantle propane lantern perfectly. The lantern is unmarked and I picked it up at a garage sale in 2026. I would say its a vintage model. The lantern was missing the glass globe and this Coleman replacement was a perfect fit.

These globes are for the extra-small Coleman 222 and 226 lanterns. These are extra-small backpack-able lanterns that are not in common use (and never really were). Parts for them are scarce, and these are genuine Coleman globes for them. Highly recommended for that use--but they'll only fit select models, not the larger propane and liquid-fueled lanterns that are the vast majority of Coleman lanterns in service. Be warned!

I ordered this as a spare for my Coleman exponent 229 dual fuel lantern. This globe is nearly a perfect fit as compared to the original globe. It might be a fraction of an inch smaller, however, this replacement globe fits the lantern. It's getting harder to find spares for these liquid fuel lanterns, so having a spare on hand is comforting should I ever need it. I might order another later as this lantern is a handy item to have on hand when the power goes out.

As I post this review I am getting the chance to read other reviews and I'm discovering that several others have run into the same problem. This item came up when I did a search for 214A0461 so I ordered it. It turns out that this product is the 5414B048 which looks the same but is a much smaller globe. Unfortunately the seller didn't list the part number of the globe but instead they listed the lantern model numbers that the globe is compatible with. I have no idea what my lantern number is but the globe number is printed clearly on my broken globe so that's what my order was based on. You shouldn't need to read the reviews to figure out what part you are purchasing. The seller should have listed the part number in the description. It would be too expensive to return this so I'll just throw it away. Live and learn. Update: Because the description was unclear Amazon returned the item and paid for the shipping. Amazon's customer service is excellent!

It is a well made globe but it’s the wrong size for my needs. But that’s my fault.

Purchased as a replacement for the Coleman #222 "backpacker's" lantern. Hard to find this size in local stores.
