AMAZING Throwback
A lot of the one-star reviews that I have read are about the camera not being able to take perfect quality photos and all that sort of stuff. This camera is not designed to take photos like a digital camera with exceptional lighting and quality and all of that. This is a polaroid. You either can overexpose your shot, underexpose, or leave it in the middle setting. A lot of the photos will not come out perfect but will still look very good and have a vintage style to them. The camera is very simple and definitely would be an amazing gift for someone. One downside is that film costs quiet a lot. A pack of 8 i-type is about $16 and this camera does not come with film fyi.

Negative reviews from people who don't know vintage Polaroid (the life of the party)
I took this to family holiday party and it was a ton of fun for everyone to take actual physical pictures and pass them around and give them away. Went through two packs of film. Was really a nice addition to the party to create instant photo keepsakes. Yes there is a slight learning curve to learning the best way to frame the pictures and use the flash the right way. But once I got the hang of how the flash worked best, pictures were fine.It seems to me that the negative reviews I see for this camera about picture quality are people who either aren't following the directions or don't understand what a vintage Polaroid camera is supposed to do and are only used to taking pictures with their phones. You have to pay close attention to the directions when loading the film for this camera and you have to be careful to not allow your picture to be exposed to light for at least 5 minutes after taking it.I will admit that the camera is not very sturdy and probably would not survive a fall to the ground. But following the directions on how to take the picture and how to treat the exposure have yielded me the exact results I would expect from a vintage Polaroid

Polaroid is back (but it was never truly gone)!
Years ago, when Polaroid went out of business we were left with no instant film and thanks to some good people and years of trial and error, we got the company back. This camera is the reincarnated Polaroid and I am, for one, super stoked on it. This is my 4th purchase of this camera - one for me, one for my daughter, one for my daughter's middle school grade, and this time a gift for a friend. If you are looking for a high quality digital camera, this isn't it. If you are looking for a medium format film camera, this isn't it. If you are looking for a solid instant film camera, at a great price, that uses some newly revamped Polaroid film, you like instant film and you like fun .... then this may be the camera to get. Yeah, its not an SX70 or 680, but thats ok. It took a ton of effort and a good amount of time to get Polaroid back and I am super thankful it is. I will continually support this company to keep them around to keep making better film and better cameras. This is a huge upgrade from their first, iType camera, and I'm excited to see where it leads the company.Support instant film!!

Fun camera with some considerations
If you're serious about taking photos I feel like this camera should be the last one you look at. It's not a bad camera, it's just a bit of a steep investment for the quality you get bl. This camera is more about quickly capturing a moment rather than having a super high quality photo.I got a white camera. It came in great condition and the packaging was neat and easy to open. The camera comes with a strap which is just a pretty generic thin strap that is not impressive at all.You can only take as many photos as you have film so that limits your shooting time and may contribute to what you take with you. I haven't had any issues with the battery when shooting the same day or day after charging. The camera has an easy on off switch to save battery. The film can get expensive if you take a lot of pictures. It obviously prints on the spot and the photos need 15 min or so to develop. The images are clear and very old school looking with some interesting retro coloring at times but sometimes very dark if the subject is far away where flash can't reach. This can make taking landscape photos in overcast very dark even with adjusted exposure.Overall if you want something fun and more based on capturing experiences than high quality and easily sharable I would recommend it. My friends have loved taking a few shots for home display. The camera or even the actual photos could make for some cool personal gifts.

It's great
I loved this camera. I was using it for my cats and planning to use it for my road trips. The first day of my trip the photos got jammed in the roller. Somehow 3 got stuck at the same time. Since the camera won't put out photos. It broke the rollers.Update: just reset the rollers

Not cheap, but so much fun!
If you love the old school, vintage look, this is great for you. Some people complain about it being too bright or too dark, but thats life with a Polaroid Camera. You have to spend time getting accustomed to finding good lighting. I'm not the best at this, but its too much fun to give up so easy.Actually taking the pic is easy. And the camera is simple to charge and load. But yeah, the film is not cheap. You gonna pay for it. Its fun to use at parties or family gatherings to have quick mementos you can keep.

Happy to have real pictures again
Growing up in the 80s and 90s, I have a ton of printed photos of my friends and fun times we all had together. While it's nice that now I can take digital photos and have as many as I want online, it doesn't quite have the same feel as having a real picture I can hold in my hands. This new Polaroid camera is just great, it's a great size and it's very fast to learn to use, and the pictures are the sort of thing I'll hang in my home or at my office to remind me of the great times and memories I have now with friends. My fiancee and I just shared our first Christmas at home together and my neighbor gave us money for a tree. We decorated it and took a Polaroid which we gave to her. It's so nice to be able to take pictures like that again, and I would recommend this camera to anyone.

great experience
the rollers may pick up dust, but otherwise this is an awesome camera and you can do so much with the prints no matter how they turn out (though they normally turn out nice and crisp)

Muy Recomendable
Excelente Producto, la calidad de los materiales es muy buena, el diseño es muy bonito, la calidad de las fotografías al igual es muy buena y algo extra es que es compatible con varios tipos de película para dar un acabado diferente a las fotografías.

Brilliant! Love it!
Granted I got it about 6 years ago, as a present for my partner but we still have it and it’s still working and the pictures are lovely, once you’ve managed to get the light right. Brilliant stuff!
