fuel saver and new car acceleration.
I replaced my fuel filter 7 years ago when I first bought the car. I have been getting about 18 mpg to 16 on average. and slugesh acceleration and rough idle. I replaced this filter and boy what a difference. It seems like the car is smooth as ever. this was for a 2003-2007 Cadillac cts. it was located under the car on the passengers back door... can miss it.

Needed part
Well it didn't solve the problem my car was having ( purge valve corrected that issue) but considering I don't recall changing it since I bought my car back in '08 I'd say it's about time!

Same as OEM. Only challenge is getting the rusty nut on the fuel line to turn loose without twisting the tube, but that's not a fault of the replacement part.

Fits cts-v v1 generation.

installation is very easy just be sure to get the ABN fuel line ...
Not sure why this is not a scheduled maintenance item, installation is very easy just be sure to get the ABN fuel line disconnect tool.

Great OEM replacement for CTS-V
Got it to replace the factory filter on a 2004 CTS-V. Fit perfect just like the original. No issues whatsoever. Amazon had the best price as usual!

I've had this replacement installed on my 06 CTS for quite a long time and havent experienced any fuel related issues.

Seriously, it comes in a ACDELCO box but it has a big made by MAHLE stamp on it.
