Couldn't Pass on These Crocodilians
We buy a lot of LEGOs, typically the Star Wars, Marvel, LEGO Movie, and City varieties (isn't that enough??), so I usually avoid buying into other genres to diminish the risk of being sucked in further and end up buying basically ANOTHER entire product line. I could blame my kids but we all know who is one online make purchases and writing reviews...So what made me go out on a limb and pick up these dudes? Two things:1) Crocodile Heads2) Disc ShooterAnd after purchasing them (and watching my son assemble them...sigh, next time) I would say those two features alone justify the purchase. The minifigure crocodile head is two parts; the face and snout hit is basically a "hat" that sits on top of a cylinder with eyes. I actually like that these are two pieces because it forces the eyes further back into the head, and beady little recessed eyes are just evil. The three faces are also unique; my favorite is the "Trapjaw" Crocodile because, you know, He-Man and The 80's.And I have not come across the Disc Shooter in any of the Star Wars, Super-Hero, or LEGO Movie sets, so this thing is new to me. It is a pressure fed cannon that slightly compresses the disc as it squeezes thru the gap. That pressure, or tension, as the gap slowly widens cause the disc to fling forward. Hurray for material sciences and physics! And if you've read any of my other reviews you know that I love the stud blasters and spring loaded missiles that have come out recently. Yes, yes imagination is great, but I imagine a thousand blaster bolts flying at my son, not just the single stud flying at him. Its alright, he's imaging a MILLION blaster bolts as the studs bounce off my forehead. If there is one let down, albeit a small one, the "legs" that sit next to the crocodile head disc shooter could have easily been attached to make a slightly more substantial blaster. It would have only taken 4 to 8 more bricks.

Micro sized box
Be prepared for a very small lego box. This reminds me more of the $12.95 box, not $20 and we bought two so the $40 won't take him long to put together.

Son Obsessed
I believe this is discontinued hence the price tag. I too thought box was so small and was bummed, but my son was not (6) he knew exactly what it was (he asked for it for Xmas) and was so, so, so excited. I will say it came with a lot of crocs to create and they do interesting things - he loves it and that's all that matters. If you aren't into Chima maybe look for something else, but for Chima fans - this is awesome.

DECEPTIVE!
72 piece LEGO set that cost approx $50 from this seller who displays pictures of what anyone who purchases legos would expect is a good size set for ages 7-14. DECEPTIVE!! IT ARRIVES is a TINY BOX!!!! We all were shocked! There is NO WAY 72 pieces are inside. We are not even opening it, and too embarrassed to give it as a gift. It looks like a $5.99 tiny lego set from Walgreens with under 15 pieces!! RIP OFF STAY AWAY FROM LAPAKI. Reported to Amazon and social media so no one else has to experience this. They need to add pictures to show the tiny box! Not the ones they have which mislead buyer! We are grandparents who wanted a nice $50+ lego set for our 9 year old grandsons birthday.
