Our 15 month old son really enjoys playing with the Dimpl. We're a fan of toys that capture our son's attention without the need for music and flashing lights, and this does just that. The colours are bright and engaging. It seems to be a good toy for teaching colours through play. The Dimpl is more manageable for small hands than the Dimpl Duo. Our son finds it a lot easier to press the buttons on the Dimpl - the Dimpl's buttons seem to have one layer of silicone compared to the Dimpl Duo's two layers, meaning the Dimpl's buttons aren't as stiff. The Dimpl is also much lighter than the Dimpl Duo, and the frame is thinner and less cumbersome. The Dimpl is small and lightweight, which makes it an ideal toy for travel. It's easy to clean and our son also plays with it in the bath. Our only reservation with the Dimpl is the price, but we don't regret buying it.

My 18 month old had played with a similar toy and loved it so I wanted to buy our own. She loves it and the popping sound it makes. It's chunkier than you might expect, but feels sturdy and I know it will last. The price seems a lot, but the quality is there.
