Definitely the best
Dake really were in his best moment to known something and wrote down, here you can find out the state of the art, even now at 2007 of how to do the things in reservoir engineering, planning, following, just read it, you do not loose nothing, always win.

HowTo guide to conventional, practical, analytical Reservoir Engineering
In the age of multiple stochastic realisations and intelligent fields it is remarkable how relevant Dake's two books remain. For a consultant engineer travelling light these e-book versions are just what you need and well worth the price. 'Practice' comes at the subject from a much more hands on point of view with worked examples of different analytical methods. These tools complement simulation and provide insight into the physics of reservoir performance. I knocked a star off because the books pre-date unconventionals. Laurie Dake is still missed by the industry - a book by him on unconventional reservoirs would sell like hot cakes just now!
