If you read the one-star reviews you might conclude this is a flimsy product that breaks in half if you rest it across your knees, and will cut your fingers if you hold it by the metal clip at the top. In fact it is just a normal, regular clipboard. The wood part is as thick and strong as you would expect. The metal clip does not have sharp edges. It's a good product at a price considerably less than if you went to a stationery store. I'm generally hard to please but I have absolutely no problems with this clipboard.

These are great clip boards for a great price!! The board is well made and the clip is strong. I was looking everywhere for a clip board at a reasonable price and here they are. Nicely packaged, too. I highly recommend these!!
