I use it to open the top before I get into the car. But one thing I do not like is that I can not open a door while the top is opening.

It only takes 9 seconds for the top to come up or down, but that's time I'd rather spend running in the store to get what I need and go. Haven't tested the range yet, but I'm sure I can raise the top from the third floor (with line of sight) if it starts to rain.Shipping didn't take long at all. With printed instructions the entire installation took less than 30 minutes.

Having remote contol of the top and windows makes my favorite toy of all-time even better! With a laptop, several other functions are programmable as well, including taking care of one of my only Boxster 981 complains: the radio coming on every time I start the car. With a simple function selection, the radio is muted at every start. Control over lock/unlock tones and marker LED lights on lock/unlock too. Installation was straightforward with outstanding step-by-step instructions from mods4cars.com. Really happy with this purchase.

Easy to install and function perfect!

Excellent, and worth the money. While the installation was a little tedious, the instructions on the website were great, and the install went fine! I am very pleased with the purchase!
