These work really well! I’ve been having a lot of fun drawing my own embroidery designs on clothes after getting bored of using carbon patterns I had from a book.Also makes it a breeze to trace a pattern from the internet onto your fabric should you choose to do so. In order to do this, simply print out whatever you want to trace (be careful with your sizing on the page), tape It to the back of your fabric, put some light source (such as your phone screen at full brightness) behind it and trace away. DMC has lots of lovely free patterns but you can also just google ‘line drawing of (insert what you want to embroider here)’.The lines really do vanish once you place a hot iron over them and unlike other fabric pens they will not really fade until you decide to iron them off which is great for long term projects. They come out strongly onto the fabric even after only one pass.I would say I did and still do find them a tad expensive but given the amount of colours and refills, they are more than worth it in the long run.

These are great for my embroidery projects ,and it removes easily ,I just use my hair dryer ,to remove the marks ,however a word of cautionThe refills go in from the bottom not the top ,this baffled me for ages ,but eventually worked it out ,

These work well with the exception of the white one

I love these pens. I've had mine almost 12 months, used them for many projects and am only just putting the first refills in. The nibs have stayed thin & sharp throughout - unlike many fibre tip markers. Please be aware though: The pen marks vanish easily with heat but will come back clearly if the fabric is subject to cold. This is handy if you accidentally iron over them before you've used them - just pop the fabric in the freezer for a few minutes and they're fully restored, but not so good if you're intending to use them on garments that will be worn outdoors in winter or if you are intending to send your item in the hold of an aeroplane. You can wash it out so it doesn't re-appear but it can take several washes.

At the start I liked these pens. But on further use I noticed it does not come out of some fabrics... This shirt is after 2 washes, hairdryer AND max heat iron and still you can see the two markings i made for the embroidery hoop... This was for my daughter so she can still wear it, but for items to sell??? Disaster 🤦🏼‍♀️ I most definitely do not think you should risk it just get something more expensive that actually dissapears...

I am very pleased. They work very well, and I think they will be very useful for sewing projects.The marks rub out easily with the attached rubber on the end of the pen.Ive not yet tried removing them with heat from an iron. Ive not had them long so I cant judge how long they last

It left an oil-type mark on fine fabric wedding dress. Disaster!

C'è poco da dire, sono delle penne che scrivono sui tessuti e vanno via con un colpo di ferro da stiro.Sono molto utili quando si devono marcare i tessuti in maniera molto precisa, ho usato tutti i colori e funzionano tutti, il bianco si vede meno degli altri e bisogna passarlo più volte, ma nel complesso è un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.Io le ho usate sia su tessuti chiari, che scuri e i segni vanno via facilmente, il fatto che vanno via anche solo con il ferro e non per forza con acqua lo trovo molto comodo perchè mi è capitato di disegnare le asole e dopo mi sono resa conto di avere sbagliato con le misure, ho cancellato con il ferro e ho rifatto i segni corretti, mentre con le penne che vanno via solo con acqua, una volta che si sbaglia ci si ritrova tutta la stoffa piena di segni rendendo più difficoltoso il lavoro.
