We purchased the fancy cute ones for our rambunctious 8 month old puppy who had surgery on his forehead, requiring about 20 stitches, but all failed. The vet's plastic cone snapped and we needed one ASAP but with the holidays, we couldn't wait. We purchased this one and with the 2-day shipping, it worked perfectly! It came perfectly packaged in a huge box since it was shipped completely flat, minimizing it being bent. It's been 2 weeks and it's lasted longer than the original plastic cone. This was WORTH MY MONEY!

Dog had eye surgery and needed a cone for 2 weeks. After the first 2 days it didn't seem to bother her. It is lightweight & easy to clean. I think the translucent color allowing light in made things less disorienting for her as the one she had after she was fixed (It was a dark color) that she pulled off repeatedly.

The Clear view makes pets feel less confined than opaque and the flexible material gets their heads stuck in less places around the house. I tried several opaque cones and my dog was obviously distressed at not having peripheral vision. Although she is not crazy about any cone, she appears less anxious wearing this one

Exactly what I needed without having to go to the vet to get one.Needed to keep my dog from licking an infected area while it healed.Takes a minute or a couple tries to figure out how you weave the plastic together bit it stays put!

This is a good price for this medical collar. It does start getting bent after dog bumps into things. We used it for 2 weeks, and it's in good shape still.

Wayyyyy too big

This was exactly what we were looking for. Something that doesn't fold and stays put.

Our 9 mo English Bulldog was wearing this brand and style of collar to protect him from rubbing his eye after a bee sting. He bumped it into something, likely the floor or his food bowl as all dogs do when wearing these, the collar buckled at his neck pressing into his neck at his carotid artery. He died of asphyxiation, specifically strangulation. The manufacturer has reached out to me after my vet reported it and they are investigating the design which is great but it's too late for our dog. We've had any animals have used this style collar without problems but there is no safety measure to prevent the thick material from bowing into the neck and if someone doesn't intervene quickly it's life-threatening because the animal cannot get it off.
