This is the second 14k equalizer hitch i have purchased from Curt/Amazon. The first setup the round equalizer bars are very loose in the hitch. The second setup is just minimally different than the first. Both setups the bars are very loose in the hitch. Quality control evidently is minimal as quality is also! Will never buy another Curt Hitch!

Installation can be a little tedious, but once ur done ur done. Can definitely feel the difference

Hitch assembly was shipped and received quickly. I know by the reviews I’ve read that the box was damaged. The box is very heavy!! So expect a not so perfect box. Set up was easy. Make sure you follow directions. Curt has a video on YouTube on how to set up. All parts and hardware have been include. Very well made, welds were very clean. I know there are new style Weight distribution systems. But this hitch give me the option to add another sway bar if needed.

Solidly built. Pulled my 35' Keystone Sprinter with no problem. Only complaint is when you sell a hitch that can pull 14,000lbs. with 1400lbs tongue weight, why are you necking it down to a 2" receiver shank? So I'm supposed to buy a reducing sleeve for my 2 1/2" Class V hitch on my truck and have a weak link in the system?Why not give the option for a 2 1/2" Class V receiver shank? I had to buy a 2 1/2" shank for it spending $108 more and now I have 2" shank I will never use. Offer more custom options in your products. Price was better than H&H though, who didn't know anything about hitches.

Product is fine but one of the very small screws that holds the tip inside weight distribution portion of the hitch has already come out won’t stay in now.
