Best sponge out there.

I ordered the pair of green sponges since they were on a great deal (2 for 250). I had previously been using the PAC beauty blender. These Puna sponges have a very soft fuzzy texture and grows quite a bit after being damp. It is extremely squishy and feels soft on the skin. It blends out the product evenly and doesn't soak up much product. I used it once for a face of BB cream and a concealor and washed it with soap and warm water. Most of the product squeezed right out and luckily no stains were left behind. I have attached images of a freshly washed damp sponge.People complaining about the sponge tearing apart or growing a fungus, that's partly your fault, even the real beauty blender rips and starts forming mold if you either wash it not so gently or keep it damp in a closed container. You are supposed to let it dry completely before storing it in a air tight container.

This is one of the best blending sponge at this price range. I got 2 sponges at Rs.199 under and offer.It expands quite well when soaked in water. You can see the image for difference in the size when soaked in water. I always use my blending sponge wet for two reasons. One, it will not absorb too much of make up, which is basically a waste of good expensive product. Also a wet sponge will not absorb the primer or moisturizer base you have on your skin. Two, it is easier to blend a flawless layer when the sponge is wet. So this product is almost perfect because it has a very good water retention and has various surfaces to meet the need of the dips in one's face.It has a broad spherical base for cheeks and forehead, flatter surfaces of different size for different crevices like sides of the nose, tear duct and also the under eyes if you wish.This sponge hardly absorbs any product when wet, thus ensuring optimal usage of the product.It also provides a flawless and well blended base for you makeup.

I've had this particular variant (Green one) from Puna store for quite a while. These are really good quality blenders. They're quite big so they cover a lot of area at once but not inconveniently, they're easy to clean (I clean them after every use), they're really soft and durable. After a year or so they will start to Frey but it's completely normal and you're supposed to throw out these in 6 months so a great buy. I've repurchased I think thrice. Don't get the orange ones. They're quite stiff.

Soft blender good product

The sponges were very soft and I bought it because, many youtubers raved about the sponges, but unfortunately the product I receive were damaged and also the sponges are not durable upon 3-4 washing the sponge will tore apart. As I have already mentioned the sponges are extremely soft, and affordable. If you want some thing which is for beginner self makeup. Then it is value for money. I wash my makeup sponges after every usages for preventing bacterial infection. Due to the extreme porous there is a huge chance of foundation or concealer wastage. It will soak all up most of the product. So if u r using ia light coverage foundation then this sponge is a huge disadvantage for u
