59in Silk Fan Veils with Poi Strings for Dance, Pair

These are nice for the price. The material is thinner than it appears in the pictures and the coloring is lighter - mine looked almost nothing like the picture. The ends are not hemmed which will cause issues in the future if I'm not careful because they could easily fray and start to look tattered. They are good for a practice fan to learn on but I wouldn't use these for a performance as they seem cheaply made. They are very lightweight which is good for learning on and the staves seem pretty nice although they are very flexible and may splinter or break with too much force. They came in their own carry bag which is nice to keep them clean and less likely be damaged.I'm giving these fans 5 stars because, even though I'm not thrilled with them, they seem to be just as advertised and are working perfectly for the purpose I purchased them - which is practice. I received a right and a left hand one which is vital. You definitely get what you pay for and these were the cheapest I could find so it's as expected.

Love them! They arrived on time and had a carrying bag included. They are very pastel (maybe somewhat more than the pic) but I love them. To see them in action check me out on Instagram @forever_hooping

After searching for the ideal set I came across these beautiful pastel toned fan veils. I loved that the colors were a bit muted and not as garish as the brighter toned veils. They are gorgeous in person and just the right length if you are on the shorter side (I am 5' 1") I always get compliments when I dance with these fans and many friends refer to them as my "unicorn" or "mermaid" veils. The only downside is that the fans are very stiff and sometimes a challenge to dramatically open during performance. They have loosened up over time. Would love if they came in a plastic fan option.. which would be more comfortable and easy to maneauver while dancing. I love these fans and they are great for the reasonable price but would consider investing in a pricier set if looking for something more professional

The fans were beautiful, but the first day I used them in class one of them broke. The pin to hold them together fell out. Needless to say I was disappointed.

These dancing fans that look like wings are made of beautiful silk. I wish they were longer, but they are easy to open and to manipulate.

Bamboo splits and causes some hand fatigue. Beautiful colors, could be a bit longer.

Beautiful colors, good quality.
