This works after a bunch of clones failed
I have a Canon D1620 scanner/printer and it was making a lot of horizontal smudges all across the page but at random vertical positions. It was also echoing images in some parts. Went through several much cheaper replacements with the same problem. I finally broke down (and went broke) and bought this OEM product. Very expensive, but it works!

great product, but very expensive. While it was a little less money on Amazon, other replacement cartridges are available at a fraction of the cost.

Canon confirmed this product is refurbished not new
Started streaking ink after about a week -- first time this has happenedI always buy genuine Canon cartridges to avoid such issuesBut when I called Canon, they check the cartridge serial number andadvise me this product is refurbishedSeller was Amazon so I never expected Amazon to sell refurbished items as new and genuineCanon stated there is nothing they can do -- what a waste of money !

Could have been better
Part of the original exterior box was crushed - about 3"x 3". This price was $10+ higher than cartridge just ordered (hasn't arrived yet)
