Works Great for Garage Air
I use a lot of air tools. This allows me to keep the line at 125 psi all the way up to the tool rather than having a 90 psi regulator before the hose to the tool. I have a 10 gallon receiver tank and a 100' 3/8" hose at 125 psi. With this regulator on the end, I can run my biggest impact wrench for like 30 seconds straight before line pressure starts to dip below 90 psi. This inline regulator seemed a bit pricy at first, but if you use air tools frequently, this is very useful and convenient to maximize line pressure while running your tools at a safe 90psi.

Cost effective investment that saves tools
This pressure regulator is one of the last things most tool users or hoarder would think about spending money on, until the benefits of using it are considered for just a second. The Coilhose Pneumatics Pre-Set In-Line Pressure Regulator is a simple addition that eliminates the chance that an unregulated or inaccurate regulator can cause an expensive rebuild or cause permanent damage. It has a nice solid heft, is made in the USA, and has so far survived 6+ months of being dragged around on a shop floor. Considering the drag-around leverage potential, the solution was attaching it to a flexible hose, rather than an inflexible compressor attachment seemed to be the smarter move.Consider using a dual outlet setup to allow wild unregulated pressure on one outlet and one at limited pressure. An in-line regulator set at 30 would be my other choice. Some tools are more sensitive to air pressure supplied above their listed MAX pressure and a fixed regulator like this one is great. While not a tool snob, even HF/Central Pneumatic which seem to explode if held near air pressure over their listed maximum, are lasting more than their warranty period. Better quality tools that are maintained could last indefinitely.

Works great. Wish it was rated higher inlet pressure though

great
really nice product. I checked the accuracy of the gauge and it’s on 90 psi. I plan to purchase another one

Works amazing. Used it to take my 150psi air tank down to 100psi to my Airlift airbags on my truck.
