Not impressive unless in the dark but it does shine well. A little difficult wiring this up to get to small field wires that surround the phosphorus core and give it the glow but a little patience and razor and you can get them. Pretty impressed with the pressure and bend you can put on these.

Very low glow , we were taking those for BM to light up the bikes, not worth it at all , better go with the thick tube lights

Seen a few ideas on using lights on hats and these were typically in a Rave or Halloween type party setting. So I had an old hat sitting in a closet and dressed it up. Now the glasses already had their own lights built in and so I wanted to expand on that. So given some leftover Renaissance Festival trim pieces for a whole different design hat and the glasses, an old belt buckle and a failing belt to wrap around and some faux flowers, decided i was going to run lights around the hat, from between all the flowers and the buckle and around the brim and up into the top, running around and hidden away as best as possible. However, I did have to search for another battery pack since the unit didnt match the other one already supplied with the glasses in terms of staying lit and running. Once I did find that unit they both worked flawlessly.

I used this in a Halloween costume for my kid. I thought the lights would be brighter than they are. It still did the job, but I thought it would be better.

The light itself is what I expected; the switch, on the other hand, it’s disappointing. It does not stay on, it only blinks with every push of the on button.

It's blue I can confirm this I e been so busy I just haven't installed em yet. I know they will work as intended maybe the co.pany could make them a bit brighter

I intended to use this wire to light a project art piece to look like neon. In the dark, it looked great. In normal daylight, it was difficult to determine if it was even on. Tried several different brands and types of batteries, but it's just really dim. Other than that, it's a great bargain for a lot of EL Wire and it's easy to work with.

I hot glued to my son's sweatshirt and pants. Worked great and hot glue held up perfectly (still in place since last Halloween) *mask purchased separately

Disappointed with this, doesn’t work properly.. for almost 30 dollars. I would like a refund.

Très faible qualité. La couleur n'est même pas rouge et même pas uniforme. Et la brillance est quasiment inexistante sauf dans le noir complet.

We got two of these for a Halloween costume, and discovered the driver for the purple one was failing from the get-go. It still worked ok on the blinking mode, but on continuous it would die after ~30s on. Tried fresh batteries, and then swapped with the other driver to confirm it was the controller and not the wire. Make sure to test by leaving it on for awhile to make sure the driver is functional.

The wire is much smaller than you would think, also not very bright at all, you have to be in pretty dark room for it to shine up.
