I've ordered it fulfilled by amazon from seller "ECS Distribution", but I received the silver one instead of titan gray though I think it is Amazon's fault. The product itself feels like premium with good read and write speeds. Sequential read and write are at about 305 & 35 MBps respectively. Random read and write are at about 13 and 16 Mbps respectively.

At my dinky little, non-air conditioned office in a small West Virginia town, we use very slow Mac Minis from 2012. Their hard drives are notoriously slow with abysmal transfer speeds. And, every second spent waiting on apps to load or files to transfer is another second spent in an 86 degree hot box of an office.So, I got an idea. What if moved some frequently used apps to a faster drive?I could tear down the computer and put in an SSD or I could buy an expensive external Thunderbolt SSD, either of which would've cost a few hundred dollars and/or been difficult to install. But, I like the easy route. ...Enter the Samsung BAR: Who would've thought a $12 USB stick would've been the perfect solution for me? But, it was. So I moved my most frequently used software (Chrome, Photoshop, InDesign, Slack and Office) to this USB drive and gave it a shot. I went from read speeds of around 80-90 MBps to around 250-300 MBps (about 3X faster) and my apps launch quicker and are more responsive.I'm sure there are much more conventional uses for this drive, and I'm sure those are just fine. But for what I needed, this was just right, and at 12 American dollary-doos, you can't beat it. Aside from speeds, the drive is built very well. The metal case seems very strong and it's very compact, even compared with other thumb drives. There is also a place to loop it through a key chain. The only negative is that it gets hot. I mean very hot. I know drives (especially faster ones) produce a lot of heat, but this thing gets toasty.Overall, I'm quite pleased with my purchase and I spend much less time sweating away over my Mac Mini. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone in search of a quick and cheap file storage solution -- for PCs or Macs.

Build is fantastic - solid and metallic. Very nicely designed. Read speed is very good, but write speed seems spotty. I definitely won't use it to write 1080p or 4K videos.
