I almost didn't purchase these because of some reviews. I think people who said they were 'junk' or didn't last long may not really know how to use them maybe? They are great. I've never owned one that didn't fray around the edges after time. I'm guessing people may just be harsh with them. They work fine for me, although I'm gentle with them. Maybe that's the trick?

Great value for the money

I don't like nail polish. It all seems to chip and peel off when I do housework, dishes etc.. With these buffers , the shine remains no mater what I do. The glass file is something new for me, and after using it, I know I will never go back to the old sand paper files. I'm really glad I got this.

This is a great product and very durable. Does not wear down like many others quickly do.

Buffer is ok; to bad, it is a one-and-done buffer.

There are so many terrible nail blocks on Amazon. I try to avoid the ones with colored sides because the colored paint seems to get in the way of the course side's filing ability. But it's hard to find blocks a black/gray filing side, but also with a polishing side to make them shiny. And when I finally find a good set, the company seems to stop offering them within a few months.Anyway, this set is exactly what I've spent so much time hunting for. If you're a nail block snob like me, I suggest ordering at least two sets to last you 6+ months. I didn't really need the glass filer, but it works well enough. I'm ordering more right now!

Blocks go kinda fast, one per MG Gundam, in tandem with sanding sticks. Works great for certain colored plastics, but really only the dark grey side. The white will polish it to a shine .The glass file is not a micro file and is such a low grit I can't use it on Gunpla.

Nail file came out of the case broken.
