In order to brew the flowers, submerge it in warm water for five minutes. This will rinse off the salt that "pickled the flowers." Afterwards, you can brew the flowers in hot water or blend it with tea.I mixed mine with some sencha (that I purchased through another online retailer) and it was very nice! The blossoms impart a sweet cherry flavor. Neither overly floral like a jasmine or a rose but a gentle kiss of the flower. I would highly recommend this.You could use this in treats too! There are many recipes that you could use online for reference.

About what I expected...taste is good enough...I didn't taste the sweetness, though.

I love this tea. It's mild, sweet and somewhat savory at the same time. Do not rinse or remove the blossoms from the tea! The saltiness and flavor of the blossoms is the best part. Very comforting.

Each packet comes with pickled flowers, they are very delicate and beautiful. The taste of the tea is very unique and slightly salty, takes a bit to get used to and it's an acquired taste if you've never had it before but it's a great treat.

Wonderful! The individual packets make all the difference in preserving the quality of this tea. I have purchased this exact brand many times and will again, many more times in the future.

Wish I could get this locally. Very traditional - the flowers are 'pickled' in salt.
