McAfee Internet Security 2015 - 3 PCs

I've used McAfee Internet Security for years and years. Use it on my laptop and my PC. It installed easily enough with no problems, as usual. I don't feel my laptop slow down or get sluggish when the automatic daily scans are in process. I LOVE the clean up of junk on my computers function that this has. I am not at all a computer geek so, I really appreciate when I need to install software on my computer and there are no problems. Even more than that, I love that when I'm finished with the install, the software works. This install was from a product key number that I used after going onto the McAfee website. I can't believe how times have changed. No more CD necessary to install this. No heavy price to buy the boxed CD. This was really inexpensive through an Amazon market place seller, as it was last year from another seller. To me, if it is sold through Amazon in any way, I feel confident because I have NEVER had a problem with anything concerning Amazon, whether a purchase, a question or a resolution to any (even tiny) issue. Yes, I recommend this.

Installation tip: Everything went fine until it attempted to uninstall last years anti virus on my Window 7 computer. It froze up the computer. After forcing restart was able to finish install but it has left major portions of last years A/V including a reminder that it has expired. I will have to attempt to remove it manually. On my laptop, Windows 8.1 instead of following directions I uninstalled last years A/V and then installed McAfee. The installation went perfectly. Meanwhile both computers are running fine and McAfee says they are protected.

Followed the instructions that were included with the key code. No issues at all with installing this on two computers......one with Windows 7 and the other with Windows 10. It took about 10 minutes each to install. I did not have to sign up for auto renewal to get it to install. I had auto renewal prior to this but this product saved me over $50 dollars by purchasing it here and installing it myself. The program will tell you when it is about to expire. So, next year I will just purchase this again and save myself the inflated auto renewal price. Very glad I purchased this!

I installed McAfee Internet Security just 10 days ago, but I'm liking it so far, more than I thought I would. I had been using Norton Internet Security for many years, but it was too pricey for me this year. So far, McAfee seems to catch and inform me of program updates and potentially unwanted programs more than Norton did.

do not trust this guy the product is being used for a scam u try to load the program u get a code telling it didnt take them gives u a phone number u call it and guy clame's he is with mcafee them wants u to let him go in the back door in your computer he then installs a Trojan horse then shows u that there is 5 people useing your modem and that u have a few thousand error code's them goes away to talk to his manager then tells u that he will fix every thing in your computer for an extra 180 dollars and when u dont he tells u good buy and hangs up on u and he leaves your back door active so he can come back later to screw your computer up real good or installs a key monitoring program to get your passwords then he hacks your bank accounts taking every thing he can get killing your credit SO DONT BUY THIS CRAP ITS A SCAM

At first I didn't like it very much because I was expecting a CD, but as it turns out it installs very easily and seems to be doing its job in protecting my computer....I hope. Since it was ease to install and begin functioning I have changed my mind about wanting a CD.

Mcafee key card came on time and will expire one year from my activation on Mcafee's website. This is a great bargain as the product downloads the latest version automatically.Mcafee doesn't use too much of my PC's resoruces, only when starting my pc do I notice a bit of a delay, but after that everything is fine. Mcafee's interface is simple to use and is designed to help you find what you want with minimal hassel.

I was very disappointed with this. The description said it was compatible with Windows XP, but reading the box when I received it, it was not. I had to pay a little more for Trend Micro which was compatiable with Windows XP. I notice on two PC's on which I installed Trend Micro, that the computers boot up faster than they did with McAfee 2014.Since I would have had to pay postage to return this McAfee 2015, I decided to keep it as the price had been good. I will use this on a Windows 7 laptop which I have upgraded to the free version of Windows 10. Windows 10 includes Microsoft's antivirus program Defender which the reviews say is as good as the pay software. So, after the McAfee 2015 expires in a year, I will stick with Defender and Trend Micro. McAffehas lost a long time customer cause they refused to support folks with Windows XP computers.
