Brilliant colors
Beautiful brilliant colors. It took 4 months to finish with daily works. It’s huge but the finished product is very satisfying. Good price.Pro: big project, good quality floss and fabric. Easy to follow large paper prints instruction.Con: big project requires long period of time. Must refer to paper instruction instead of symbols on cloth because some symbols look the same on fabric.Hints: make sure sort out floss colors before starting (more than 100 symbols) to save time.Summary: the finished product is so brilliantly gorgeous. It’s well worth your time. I love it, it’s my very best project this year.

Very pleased!
I am a cross stitch fanatic. Ha ha! I stumbled upon this while browsing patterns on Amazon. I was taken in by the vibrant colors. I do not normally do stamped kits but it was so pretty that I just had to have it. When I received it and opened it up, I was thrilled to see that the colors were just as vibrant in person as they were on the computer screen. It looks like it will be very easy pattern to follow. I have not been able to start this project yet since I am currently in the finishing stages of another one. However, it is definitely next on my list!

Missing Threads...:/
ETA: Looking back at the source image of what it's supposed to look like, my guess is that my threads were misplaced in the original package numbering. My cottage is the right colors, but in the wrong order. I follow thse to the T, as I've done cross stitching since I was 12, and am now almost 40, so I'm gathering that's what happened with mine. I can't find a way to contact the manufacturer, so I'm just gonna roll with it. It's pretty regardless!I'm missing about 1/4th of the thread to finish the project. I used three strands and have no issues with coverage, but I'm missing enough thread for 20, 22, 32, 34, and a couple others. It's frustrating because it's a beautiful piece. I'm an advanced cross stitcher, and do the patterned ones for relaxation, so I'm a bit annoyed about the missing thread count, knowing I used the correct amount of threads (3) for each color and wasted nothing. I am going to try to finish it with threads leftover from other projects but it's frustrating when they put an excessive amount for some colors (4,19) and not enough for others.

Beautiful piece!
This was my first cross stitch project. It took me about 6 months to complete. Definitely difficult for beginners, but possible with practice. I'm really proud of how this turned out and I've received a lot of compliments on it.

Addictive!
I am including my finished project and the threads left over. They indeed include more threads than you need to complete the project. I did run short on only one color (black) though. Was not a big deal for me since I have tons of that color left from other projects. The digram was very easy to read and it helps to have schema on the paper in addition to the printed schema on the fabrick. Don't worry about the diagram colors to fade when you do your embroidery. It took me some time to wash all that print off and I am still a bit dissatisfied with residue left in some places. Will definetly order again. Oh... If you are a complete beginner from ground 0, try something small. This project is for beginers+.

Amazing quality!
I don’t often bother with reviews but wanted to give this one a big thumbs up! This is my fourth Maydear kit and like the ones before it’s perfect. I find the images on the website to be a great indication of the final result.Pros:The fabric is flexible enough to be able to roll it or fold it or whatever makes stitching most comfortable. Most definitely enough thread in all the kits I tried! They really do provide more than enough. I even used 4 threads in a kit that required 3 threads and still had enough to finish (but it was more difficult to stitch and I won’t do that again nor do I recommend). Just make sure you split each floss - which contains 6 threads - into the amount you need. The printing is accurate and helpful, I rarely have to refer to the larger on paper print to double check that what I’m seeing is indeed what’s there.Soaking in slightly hot water removed all the ink. I was worried about that with my first kit but it turned out clear and clean. I soaked the completed work for a few minutes, once the water was full of ink I replaced the water. I did that 3 times then left it to soak for 2 more hours. After that I hung it to dry and there was no ink whatsoever.Cons:Super time consuming and addicting :)My tips for beginners are:Best to start with an 11 count kit (counterintuitively, 11 count is larger than a 14 count)watch a few youtube tutorials especially to see how to start and end each thread. This is not a sprint it’s a marathon, a very peaceful and slow paced marathon, so be patient and enjoy :)

Better than expected!
I love cross stitching landscapes. This is a beautiful piece. I am impressed with the kit. I was hesitant to buy a pre-printed kit because I have never used one before. For almost 30 years, I have only done counted cross stitching without a kit. Anyway, I'm very happy with this kit - the stamp is precise (one of my concerns), there is a glossy & colored paper chart (you can use this if you want to create a 14 count project instead, though you have to buy the aida cloth), there is DMC conversion (very helpful if you run out of threads), and there are even extra floss added! Instructions on how to remove the dyes afterwards are also included. Reasonably priced. A great buy!

I like it, but the instructions could be better.
I do like this kit. It says it's for beginners, and I used to cross-stitch, but I've forgotten the stitches. This does not come with good instructions, which I expected with a kit made for beginners. I had to Google how to do the stitches. That being said, it's a nice kit, and I'm enjoying it. Others have said there's not enough thread to finish the project and I don't know if that's true yet. But there seems to be enough. So I do like it and would buy from this brand again, but just know that the instructions are not there or not easy to read.

Love it !
1. With grid lines/dye almost finished.2. Washed - I accidentally put the cloth under running water in the tub and the dye just washed away. I put the cloth in a container with warm water for 3 hours, checking it, and changing the water a few times. I also gently hand washed the top and lower part of the cloth where there was some dye left. I would say 99.9% of the dye washed away.3. Framed - love it !4. Extra floss with my fave large hoop bought on Amazon. Hoop was a bit pricey but worth it !I enjoyed making my first stamped cross stitch project ! Read the really bad review but decided to give it a chance and I'm glad I did.

Barely even started and already running out of threads…
I’m almost out of blue 03 threat for the sunset picture. It says in the description the seller will send you out more free of charge. But they don’t provide a way to contact them… so seller if you are reading this: send me more threads!

Great product. Helped Retiree get back into it
The quality is great I choice the stamped kit because I am recently retired and its been many many years since I did any needle work so this kit got me back into it quite easily. I would also recommend it for any beginners. Looming forward to completing it.
