When I first tried these on I thought NO WAY! The padding area was very wide between my legs, and felt bulky and uncomfortable while I walked. HOWEVER, I decided to hop on the bike with them just to see and that uncomfortable feeling was instantly gone the second I got in the saddle. You don't feel the bulk or the width of the padded area because with your feet on the pedals it makes the space for the pad to fit perfectly between your legs and across the seat. It was instantly more comfortable once I got on.The padding isn't super thick, but the gel is nice and quite soft. It definitely made a difference. I am also pairing the shorts with a padded seat as well so that I can get maximum comfort while in the saddle.

I will never understand why they don't put the extra padding up front for women's shorts for bikes. I wear them backwards and I wear 2 pairs at a time. If you damage the nerves it will not repair itself. They work but they could be better.

These shorts arrived in good time and are well made. My wife says: They fit as expected.and are comfortable. Works great. I liked them I am ordering another pair just like this.

Love these. The shorts do ride up a bit. But I do not mind. It really helps when I’m biking to have that gel pad there.

The padding is nice and thick. The spandex is light and low quality but it works for me.

I purchased a fabulous desk bike because I am a writer, spending hours on my computer. I always felt guilty that I wasn't outdoors taking a walk or getting some exercise, so the desk bike was a GREAT find for me. However, sitting and pedaling for hours while writing or researching or even reading a book was getting slightly uncomfortable. I looked for padded bike shorts, found these, and absolutely love them. It is just the right amount of cushioning to make my lengthy periods of time on the desk bike far more comfortable!

I have found that with products from China, I usually order the next size larger. In this case, it made the item much too big. Otherwise, they were just what I expected: lightweight so they could be worn under other pants or a skirt. The quality was also good, but just remember they are lightweight, so they aren't thick enough to give you much compression, if you are looking for that!
