The media could not be loaded. Was able to get expected results as shown in the video. Its important to make the solution alkanine The pH of the solution should drop to near 10. Adding just iron or copper will not help.I recommend to buy from this seller.

the real thing, but doesn't work the way it does on TV
The luminol powder arrived in good condition, and worked for my amateur chemists. This is a good way to get luminol, because the powder will last 5 years if protected from light, heat, and air (sealed and in refrigerator). Once it's made into a liquid, it can decompose within a day, although by keeping it in a dark bottle in the refrigerator it lasted about a week.For best results, you need to know that luminol doesn't work the way it is presented on TV. The glow is brief, about half a second, and too dim to see in a room with bright fluorescent lights. The luminol solution has to be alkaline, pH 9 or higher. To detect blood (meat juice) requires fresh hydrogen peroxide to be the oxidizer. Bleach all by itself will immediately oxidize luminol, and produce the brightest glow.
