I ruptured a disk in 2004, and my back hasn't really recovered. This is no quick fix, but I do use it at night before going to bed. It seems to loosen my spine, as it often cracks after lying on it. I am working on my core, which is also something I have neglected since having my children. I seem to be taking better care of my spine after starting to use this, so that is definitely a positive outcome!

For a simple design that was inexpensive, this has worked wonders on my back. Often cannot straighten up after gardening but after laying on this for a while, back clicks back into place and can stand straight again. Not initially comfortable to use but does the job in stretching out spine.

I bought this to replace the previous one that snapped after repeated use by my son who tends to get a bad back when working. He's a big lad at 6'4" and 18 stone of rugby player and bending down when fitting power outlets isn't easy. His last back stretcher was made of wood and was better shaped but unable to take the load... First off the design is not as good as the previous and generic back stretcher which was shaped like your back is suppose to be. This one allows you to insert a flexible bit of plastic between sort of latches. The level of arch can be adjusted to minor to severe. Bare in mind you will need to be pretty strong increase the arch height. Quality seems fine so far. It can be easily disassembled to store under the sofa etc.

Promptly delivered. Reduced back pain. But stretcher broke after 6 weeks despite my careful use.

I bought this back stretcher and am happy to say it provides good relief for a painful lower back. It does not cure the sore back but provides a good stretch and relief from painful lower backs. Well designed with 3 positions.

Only had a chance to use it twice so far. Sciatic pain has reduced already. I'm not trying the exercises suggested in the booklet yet. Just laying on it for 20 mins at a time. Only complaint is I find the pimples on the stretcher dig in to my back and not comfortable. I place a hand towel over it and is now fine. Wish I had bought one years ago. I have had sciatic pains on and off for 40years.

After use my back hurt more. Persisted with it over a few months but didn't see any benifits.

Impressed! It really does ease back pain. I use it for 5-10 minutes a few times a day and I have vastly diminished my daily pains.
