Loft Bunk Bed How-to Book; Paper Pattern Plan to DIY and Easily Build Any Size Bed

I built this bed exactly per the plans. It is a very workable bed and my daughter is very happy with it. I bought all the materials for a twin size bed at Home Depot and spent a total of $150 for this bed including paint.It took about 2 hours to cut all of the parts. It took about 4 hours to sand all the boards. I painted it with primer then gloss coat, total time aroudn 8 hours. Another 2 hours to assemble in the room. Total time about 16 hours to build which is 4 weekends for me.The instructions are clear, but there need to be a lot more graphics or pictures. The only picture is the one you see on this website. The bed "creaks" a lot. The steps are too far apart, I would double them. After the amount of time I spent on this, the money, and the final product, I wish I would have spent about twice as much for a store bought unit.

Ok for an advanced builder with the right equipment. Not for long term (years of use) unless only by light weight children.

Great idea to create your own but in the end I bought a bed. Quick shipping with no disappointments whatsoever.
