Incredibly cheap, and about half the metal they should have.
This is not a version of this product you should use if strength of the item is a concern. If this is 100% a décor item, then go ahead and use. If strength matters, spend the extra dollar on a better version. The base plate is 2mm or 1/8th of an inch thick. The version I bought from the hardware store is 5mm and 3/8" thick. Returning my order.

Ideal - But Only For Architectural / Decorative Use
These are indeed significantly smaller and thinner then the standard cast iron flanges found in big box stores. You do not want to use these for plumbing. Used as part of decorative or architectural design, they will work fine and look good.
