I cannot say enough great things about the Arm & Hammer Tartar Control Dental Spray for Dogs. I’ve been using this product on my dog, Maggie, for several years, and it has become a non-negotiable part of her nightly routine. She’s now 6 years old, and thanks to this spray, she has never needed a professional veterinary dental cleaning — which speaks volumes about how effective it truly is. I brush Maggie’s teeth once a week, but every other night I simply spray this directly onto her teeth and gums, and the results have been outstanding. Her breath stays fresh, her tartar is minimal, and her teeth look clean and healthy without the struggle of daily brushing. The mint flavor is pleasant and she doesn’t mind it at all — which is a major win if you’ve ever tried brushing the teeth of a dog who isn’t a fan! The bottle lasts longer than expected, the spray nozzle distributes evenly, and the formula doesn’t leave a sticky residue. I’ve also noticed that her gums stay pink and healthy, and she happily lets me use it because she associates it with her bedtime routine (and maybe the attention she gets with it). I use a lot of the Arm & Hammer dental products for my dog - one being the toothpaste and the other being this dental spray. It's a great product and it does what it advertises which is controlling tartar. Arm & Hammer also advertises that it freshens up bad breath, but I didn't find it to really do that which is why I use their toothpaste to do just that. I do feed my dog mainly wet food though so that might be why the spray isn't too effective. Otherwise, this is a great product from Arm & Hammer as it helps keep my dog's teeth clean especially when used with their other dental products.

My dogs don’t seem to hate it! They hate the spraying but both of them love the flavor. Used it once and brushed their teeth the next day and so much gunk came out!! Definitely helps soften tartar and plaque. It smells nice, a very light mint smell if even. It’s seems to be very effective. Not sure if it helps breath but I also don’t want to smell my dogs breath 🤣.

I am glad I saw this to review. It reminded me I need more asap. It does exactly what it says it will do. I am a former breeder and shower of Yorkshire Terriers. They are prone to tartar and tooth decay. I brush my girl's teeth once a week and use the spray after brushing and in between brushing. It keeps her teeth looking great and does wonders for her breath. It is small enough to carry with you. I gave "taste" a 5 star, but I didn't taste it, and she can't tell me. Her reaction, and she is very picky is that she does not care about the taste. When I take her to the vet, I am told I do a great job, and she never needs expensive, dangerous teeth cleaning. The product arrives quickly, but I don't care about the packaging because it is always thrown in a box with other items and not wrapped for breakage or spillage. I will buy it again.

Info: Yorkie, 14 years, has had several teeth pulled, worse dog breath imaginable. I wasn’t sure about this and at first I didn’t think it was doing much, however my dog’s horrible breath is gone! I only use it maybe 5 times a week. My dog hates this stuff and runs when I get it out, but his breath was so bad, he’s going to have to deal! I recommend this!

Happy with dog mouth spray. My 2 year dachshund does not like her teeth brushed but tolerates the spray. The spay has helped remove some tarter / plaque and improved her breath and teeth colour.
