Some years ago, I had surgery and had a difficult time sleeping. My mind would race. I tried taking Strath and, that night, for the first time in months, I slept restfully. I felt my mind really rested. So, I agree with others that it can help relieve stress. I think it has a pleasant taste. I don't take it daily, but whenever I do, I take a teaspoonful straight from the bottle.

This is the stuff of nightmares...but excellent health. When I was a child my mother used to have to threaten me with my life to take this stuff and I ran oh lord I ran....but not far enough. I was super unsure about whether or not to try this since no one I knew had ever heard about it, and it came from overseas. However, after I got past the taste I feel that it's a great supplement.I used to be the type of person who got sick really quickly and easily, but after taking this for a few months I survived what was one of the worst cold seasons unscathed. Sure there might have been many factors, but I feel that this was one of them.I mostly came to write this review in attempt to describe the taste, texture, color etc. so that people aren't as scared (as I was) to try it since it kind of looks like something Mary Poppins would pull out of her bag...*Texture*Is kind of thick, like a bit thicker than maple syrup but not goopy or chunky.*Color*The color is dark brown, kind of darker and more opaque than maple syrup.*Taste*The taste is reminiscent of wine and beer mixed together with a sweet undertone.I hope this helps someone who is unsure!

This product exceeded my expectations!

This stuff keeps me healthy during our Wisconsin winters where I swear...sickness is everywhere once our weather gets cold. Does ANYONE wash theirs hands??? I catch everything & this helped me get through last years winter relatively unscathed by a plethora of sickness (been healing my leaky gut). I will not do without this again! The taste is palatable...sort of like a mix between syrup & bitters...but I'd eat tree bark if it kept me healthy as I don't have sick days being self employed.
