Bought these to replace the default ones in my preamp. I use this to improve the sound from my little suitcase record player. They completely removed the buss I was getting with the default ones and the sound is like being wrapped in a warm blanket. Would recommend.

Could spend more and get worse quality. For the price very good. Overall sound decent and have rectified hum produced by previous valves.

Good value, nice sound

This tube is actually one of my favourite out of a bunch I have. Nice soundstage and detail as well as a slight touch of microphone detail which takes away the analytical sound and adds flavour to the music.

I wasn't expecting much for the price and these arrived simply wrapped up in some bubble wrap inside a black plastic zip top bag. They were in fine shape though - pins nice and straight. So out went the Russian 6J1's that were working their own brand of magic in my Douk Audio G6 and in went these little guys. Right off the bat, I was impressed with their thick rich dense chocolaty tone. Wow! Round heavy bass! Solid electric guitar. Chest to vocals. Nice. Ooey gooey tubey richness! Hot fudge - sweet warm dark thickness. I dialed back the bass tone control on the G6 a few clicks - aah! These tubes have great synergy with my Canton CD1020 speakers which can sound a bit lean and analytical. These fatten things up nicely and the Cantons still sound highly detailed but with more tone color and flesh and blood to instruments and voices. These tubes don't do the huge airy highly detailed soundstage of the vintage Russian 6J1's, instead sounding more confined to the space between and height of the speakers, but they do offer their own brand of sonic goodness. Very enjoyable to listen to. Great price. Well worth adding to your arsenal of tubes. I am delighted.

Die Röhren sind gut angekommen. Verpackung sportlich aber alles i.O. Lieferung super schnell. Die PIN Durchmesser sind nicht so dick wie bei anderen Röhren, entsprechen denen der Chinaröhren. Dadurch werden die Sockel nicht unnötig geweitet. Ich setzte die Röhren in einem FOSI Phonovorverstärker ein. Der Klang ist etwas weniger röhrenartig als die Originalröhre 6AJ2 aber dafür mehr Mitten und Höhen. Habe darum den Bass am Verstärker etwas angehoben. Im Vergleich zur GE Röhre gefällt es mir der Klang deutlich besser. Werde sie behalten. Die Röhren sind kleiner als die Originalröhren und passen gut ins Gehäuse. Beide Heizdrähte leuchten gleich hell. Das war bei den GE Röhren nicht der Fall. Ich kann sie nur empfehlen.
