Overall Great Product
As allot of reviewers have already notated, this luggage reeks of a chemical smell. It actually smells of moth balls. Prior to my trip I placed it in a separate room and let it air out for several weeks. Closer to the trip I used a box of baking soda to "suck up" some of the odor. On my trip I included a dryer sheet along with my belongings and didn't have a problem with my clothes smelling. After about three weeks it still has a slight smell of moth balls. If this is an odor you can not stomach, I would just walk away now. I don't take umbridge with it as I took the above precautions, but it did reflect in me giving it one less star. Now, as far as the over quality and durability of the item,it works fantastic. I fly out of a smaller airport since I'm in the Midwest flyover part of the country, thus, smaller airplanes. Anyone who has ever flown on a Canadian Regional Jet knows that the overhead compartments are tighter than tight. I had a full bag (although I did not need to use the expansion zipper) and was able to squeeze it into the overhead bin like a glove. The flight attendant even doubted that it would work and once I was able to maneuver it in, some applause broke out in the cabin. I normally used a backpack on my previous journeys, I was able to get double the amount of clothes and belongings in this bag. I'm an obese guy, so my clothes are double the size of a normal person, I was able to get a weeks worth of clothes, my hygiene kit, a pair of sandals, and a set of shoes in there comfortably. I actually had additional room. The luggage is extremely lightweight and rolls around smoothly on smooth surfaces. The only issue I have with the construction is the handle feels a little flimsy once it's extended all the way (it's of the telescoping variety). If you are a shorter individual, this won't be an issue as you won't need to extend it all the way, but if you're over 5 ft 10 in, then you'll need to telescope the handle. As long as you're pulling it from behind, there shouldn't be an issue, but if you tweak or twist the handle more than just enough pressure will probably break the thing. Another bonus I was not expecting was a luggage lock is included. The zippers work smoothly. [UPDATE: I have had this carry on for an entire decade now! I've bumped the rating up to 5 stars because of its resilience and durability. I've flown around the world to several countries several times with it (and it has the scars to prove it) and it has not failed me once. I'm happy to report the initial moth ball smell dissipated after the first year. Unfortunately, the last year or so the wheels are starting to become a little wonky with age. I'm assuming the wheel bearings are probably going bad, but with as much use as I've received from the old workhorse, that's to be expected. I absolutely love the old gal, we have so many memories together across several continents. The day those wheel bearings finally give out will be a very sad day for me.]

Perfect Carry On!
Great quality, even better than one we paid more for my wife! wheels roll freely and all directions. Looks fantastic & bright color is perfect to identify it at the airport. Perfect carry on size and not too heavy. My only problem is my wife liked it more so she carried mine and I carried hers most of the trip!

Great for kids!
Ordered these last minute for a family vacation and they worked so well. Not only did they help my kids feel independent carrying and packing their own items, they have held up well for subsequent vacations. The wheels rolled smoothly and the whole item is sturdy and protective. They are the perfect size for kids and I loved that we could order different colors for each kid to know what suitcase was theirs.

Love this luggage
Bought for husband but it's better for me. Love the colors, rolls smoothly, looks good after being checked several times. Does fit overhead in every plane I've been on, but despite being carry on size its quite roomy. Good quality, good value, lightweight and durable. I've had this luggage for 7 flights with no issues.

Perfect for long stay and overhead bin fit.
I bought this because I was flying from Ohio to the Alaska peninsula for work, would be in Alaska for 40-45 days, and I didn’t want to check any luggage. I flew on Delta, and Alaska Airlines. This carry-on was large enough to hold: 13 pair of underwear, 13 pair of socks, 6 bras, 6 pair of blue jeans, 4 tee shirts, 3 long sleeve shirts, a pair of sneakers, a hooded zip up fleece safety jacket, and odds and ends of things I could stuff in the cracks. Seems unbelivable, but as my sister remarked, I’m a packing ninja. Once I boarded the plane I was able to fit it into the overhead bin without problem, perfectly. As a warning for those considering expanding it for that extra room: DON’T! Unless you want to go through and take stuff out when it won’t fit. This carry-on fit through the bin opening with no extra room to spare. I had a layover in Chicago, and walked to a different terminal, which seemed like a million miles away. The wheels worked perfectly, the handle was sturdy, and when I stopped to wait at my gate I was able to set my back pack on top of it without any trouble. The outer shell is rugged, the zippers performed as would expect a zipper to perform. While I didn’t expand the sides for additional room, I played with it to see if it worked right, and it did. While I’m not excessively rough with my belongings, I expect a product to stand up to everyday wear and tear, and I don’t baby things. This carry-on did not disappoint. During the trip and afterwards, it has been banged around, dropped repeatedly while full and empty, slid on its front across a concrete parking lot, and yes it shows some wear but not as much as you would expect after heavy use. As a reminder, don’t mess with the included lock until you have read the directions on how to operate it. All in all, this carry-on exceeded my expectations.

10/10 do recommend
This suitcase takes the cake. It has vibrant colors (I choose green) a sturdy hard shell, what feels like a plastic/vinly inner layer and an easy extendable handle and wheels so you can pull it where it needs to go. It’s light and not heavy even when packed (I can fit about 10 days worth of clothes in here). It’s comfortable to manicure around and I think it was a very good glue for the price

Great low-cost carry-on, esp for infrequent traveler
You get what you pay for, and for the price the functionality and look are great. 3 instead of more stars bc after trip flying and with a weeks worth of clothes, the inner lining has a tear. To be fair- i really stuffed this suitcase without unzipping the expanded capacity. But- it fit the American Airline carry-on size standard, and it is very light weight. I am very impressed by the smooth functionality of the wheel casters as well. I’d buy it again given the need I had (and it will still serve purpose in the future)… but it you are an avid traveler and wanting super durable product- you may want to go ahead and invest in a higher-end bag. But for the occasional traveler, great buy!
