Wow, this gong packs an incredible punch. I bought this for my team in office, the beautiful resonance of its sound is so rich and rewarding. Definitely a motivator for the sales team to close deals because they get to bang it every time. This gong is awesome, worth way more than it costs!

Absolutely amazing. I've never had a gong but always wanted to. So happy that my very first one is of such a great quality. Couldn't be happier. I wanted a gong to do house blessings and cleansings, but in between I wanted it to be on display. I bought a little Indonesian ottoman for it to stand on, they look so harmonically together. LOVE the sound, you can really feel the waves of vibrations go through your body. It goes - bam - whaw-whaw-whaw-whaw... for a very long time. You can make it sound very soft and quiet or really take the loudest out of it, depends on the purpose. I find myself play on it every time I see it. The Buddha room loves it. Mine came with a mallet, although it didn't have a hole in it to put a string through, easy fix. The mallet recommended below the product description to buy with this gong is way too big for it, be selective. I wanted my gong to be mobile so I can take it to backyard for parties as well, so this is the perfect kind. Highly recommending.

Okay, sounds great. Comes with a stand which is nice. Sounds bigger than the unit! WHY they don't give you a mallet that can be held by the hook is beyond me. This will cost them all of nothing to drill a hole and put a nice piece of string ... but nah ... leave it up to us to have to drill it and fine nice string to hang it with. Deducting 1 star for the DIY required to display this thing.

Exceeded Expectations.

I purchased this gong after watching a British mystery on TV where dinner guests were summoned by a gong. My spouse commented: we need one of those! Wonderful gong sound-just what I expected! And it can be heard in the reaches of our rather large home-we tested! Much more civilized than Alexa.

The gong and stand are as pictured, and seem fine quality, however the mallet provided does not have a hole or string to hang on the stand. The handle is so thin I'm afraid to take it upon myself to drill a hole. It's pretty critical to me to have the mallet hanging on the stand so that it is usable and doesn't get lost, so I was disappointed to find it was not as advertised.

This is a great gong, if you're looking for a reasonably small, fairly inexpensive gong. Pretty heavy, good sound, doesn't seem cheap. But the one we got did NOT come with the stand pictured, rather it came with another one you can see around the Web (the more traditional-looking all-metal stand with two vertical bars and the gong hanging from a bar across them). We actually wanted the stand we got, so it was a bonus for us, but word to the wise ... Another good thing about the stand we got is that the metal base bars are wide enough to take some pads or little feet, if you want to put the thing on furniture that might be damaged otherwise.

Had to return this tem as the sound was really bad.

Nous avons acheté ce gong après en avoir comparé plusieurs, et vraiment pas déçus. Le son est très beau c'était ce qu'on souhaitait. En plus il fait du plus bel effet sur le meuble dans notre salon entouré de nos petites statues de bouddah. Très satisfaits.

Bought this as a sales going to celebrate wins at a company I was part of it quickly got renamed and is an absolute unit. It sounds great when you actually hit it hard. Gong quality is fantastic, id say the mallet is so so.

premetto che non sono un musicista e ho comprato questo gong a puro scopo ornamentale, anche se il suono lo trovo veramente affascinante e ricorda l'oriente... il marchio è noto nell'ambito degli strumenti a percussione e la qualità costruttiva dell'oggetto è ottima.
