A little spendy, but worth it. The protein is great for keeping muscle while losing weight. I’m not a weightlifter, but muscle is still important. It’s premixed, so a shake is all I give it, which technically isn’t even necessary lol. It’s about the size of a soda, but skinnier a bit. Despite the slightly smaller volume, it is way more filling and nutritious than most soda obviously. You could definitely mix this into a smoothie or milkshake, it tastes good on its own as a standout ingredient, it’d be hard to go wrong. I think most people prefer the texture cold, but I like it room temp. I feel it has more flavor that way. The texture isn’t slimey or goopy, like some brands out there. It has a clean and fresh mouthfeel, like a regular drink but tastier. Milkshake in a bottle lol. For mixability, I recommend peanut butter, milk, bananas, or like ores and ice cream. Definitely follow a recipe. Blenders seem easy till you’re wondering why smoothies are so hard to make. Just follow a f****ing recipe lol.

This is delicious! It even has enough caffein to equal a cup of coffee. I never get sick of it. The other flavors are blah. This one is a winner. I am a type 2 diabetic and use this to hold me from lunch until dinner. Low carb. I can't recommend this highly enough :)

The taste is similar to chocolate milk. They're a bit expensive, but an easy, convenient way to boost protein intake, without adding a lot of calories. They are best cold. Don't allow them to freeze and then thaw (shipped to a cold location where they freeze outside before being brought inside), they will be ruined.

Mother in law uses it/ she drinks it every day, once per day. Usually at night. They are about the right size and taste wonderful. And she said they have the vitamin & minerals she needs. She thinks they are a good value and they are good for you. They fill her up and satisfies her hunger. She highly recommends them. She likes the milk chocolate best, not the dark chocolate.

After my weight loss surgery it was hard to absorb certain things into my body. So drinking these help me. Love the taste. Keep in my fridge. Love the taste..it's better when really cold. I need the extra protein. Does good on my stomach. It convent to take with you while In the car. I keep 2 or 3 in my car. Just wish the prices would go down a bit.

Love the vanilla flavor, even though initially I thought it was too sweet. I even added apple pic spice and a dash of vanilla extract as a suggestion by my Bariatric team. That tasted great! Then I just drank it plain and also like it that way also. I’m using Ensure for my 2 week pre-surgery diet.

My family and I call Ensure “Milkshake” for my dad. He loves it that much! He’s a four time cancer survivor — a survivor of lung, throat, prostate, and skin cancers. He takes an Ensure Max Protein Shake every morning with his medicine as his appetite is not the greatest in the early morning hours. So far, I have bought over 350 drinks of Ensure on Amazon for my dad. A few times during my dad’s throat cancer battle, my husband and I fed him Ensure through his PEG tube by the recommendation of his nutritionist at his cancer treatment center. He tolerated it well. He was between two tube feeding formulas, one very rich and one not so rich. We fed my dad 4x a day through his PEG tube for several months. My dad was beyond thrilled when he was able to drink and eat, once again, and his feeding tube was finally removed. We donated $800 worth of his unopened (two other name brands) tube feeding formulas to the Humane Society. He loves Ensure very much. Ensure Max Protein Shake was recommended by his family doctor as the best formula for him with 30g of protein, 1g of sugar, and 150 calories. His doctor gave him a handful of varieties to try. My dad has tried all of them and seems to enjoy French Vanilla the best. He, also, loves the Birthday Cake and Creamy Peach for a change. All the drinks are very nutritious, good, creamy, and smooth in his opinion. Often, we add milk and ice to his “Milkshakes”, too. When I asked my dad for his opinion of Ensure, he said “Are you going to bring me one now?”! There you go. That says it all.
