Swim Training Gloves Aquatic Fitness

My friend just put in a pool. So we are trying all different types of water workout equipment. The Swim Training Gloves are by far my favorite. There are so many arm resistant exercises that can be done. My favorite part is you don’t have to grip a barbell or a resistant object. It helps anyone that has arthritis in their hands do the exercises that the other objects can do but require you to grip and cause fatigue. They are quality made and look great.

The gloves did their work in the water, especially in helping pulling the water. The fit is a little big, but they can help your float when stretching out the arms. The palm side material helps to prevent slippery when you push up to get out of the pool.

Good swim gloves that give excellent resistance when swimming. It does not withstand the chlorine for long - fades after a few months and I am expecting it to start disintegrating shortly. I swim every other day and figure I'll go through 2-3 pairs/year. This is my second purchase in less than a year.

The Speedo gloves are excellent in increasing resistance during lap swimming and for water aerobic class. Excellent product!

UPDATED REVIEW. I contacted Speedo about the gloves as I used the Amazon link to speek with the seller. This link goes directly to Speedo. Speedo states that I need to contact the Amazon seller, which is them (Speedo). I got no where. Extremely poor customer service, and run around. For this reason I am changing my original 3 to 1. I'll be calling the Amazon phone number to get this resolved. Just got off the phone with Amazon. They tell me that it's Speedos warranty issue. Again I contact Speedo. Same deal. I give up. I will find a better brand. I'm not sure what to rate these. The gloves work great in the pool for resistance. I give that a 5. The palm part is absolutely falling apart. Im greatly disappointed in the quality of this portion. I give the palm part a 1. I've worn these 34 times exactly in a chlorinated pool. I expected a lot more value for the brand name and $34 plus tax that I paid. Im disappointed to say the least. Photos are of both gloves.

These fit well and are easy to put on. They are comfortable while swimming and have increased my arm workout while swimming. They are doing exactly what I purchased them for. I can see where the neoprene will probably wear out in 6-8 months, but that's just the cost of the chlorine.

I swim 6 times a week for fitness/therapy. I practice freestyle, butterfly, and even a modified doggy paddle with these gloves on. They offer moderate increased resistance in the water, equal to its drive. They do not seem to have too much drag, but I feel the palm-side is too soft and the overall thrust is less than sleeker gloves that have rigid rubber/silicone in their palms. The plus side, they are so easy to put on and take off. The wear on mine started on the same spot on both gloves, so either I'm consistent (yay), the quality of both is the same (yay), or the durability flame is the same (d'oh). This spongey palm is splitting, though I am going to use these for a bit longer till I deem they aren't a great benefit any longer. I think the super flex of the material is ultimately what's leading to it ripping. Even as this is my primary workout exercise, I can't justify buying these every couple of months. So I'm already trying alternatives to see if all gloves are doomed to an early wearout.

These are my go-to gloves for my aggressive deep water aquafit - 5 hours per week. Important to air dry them after each session. My previous purchases of this product have lasted about a year before the back of the hand fabric portion begins to break down and the neoprene hand part begins to give out around the seams. They really give a boost to one's exercise program when used aggressively. For folks I see with them who just wave their arms about in a gentle manner, there is likely not much benefit; but then again, they are at the pool while others are home having coffee, a tip of the hat to all who show up at aquafit classes!

Speedo ist (neben Cressi) eine der wenigen Marken im Bereich Schwimmsport, die man bedenkenlos kaufen kann. Die Handschuhe sind sehr schön: angenehm zu tragen, robust, und (dank des Klettverschlusses am Handgelenk) einfach anzuziehen. Gerade in der letzten Hinsicht habe ich schon ganz anderes erlebt (Arena, ich schaue dich an). Ich trage die Handschuhe immer, wenn ich im Meer schwimme (perfekt dazu passen übrigens die Cressi Agua Short-Flossen). Letztens habe ich es einmal nicht gemacht: ein wirklich seltsames Gefühl. Also Vorsicht, die Handschuhe können süchtig machen! Aber ich, ich bin ihnen verfallen, und daher eine eindeutige Kaufempfehlung von mir.
