Since the late 90s/ early 2000s, I have sold and used, personally, BG products. As far as pour in the gas tank with a tank of quality gas, it is the best.IMO Shell 89 octane, or 93 if you want or if your car calls for premium, either way this works thru the tank of gas progressively erroding away the carbon deposits on fuel injectors (multi-port, GDI, ect..) also by nature cleans valves, pistons and combustion chambers as a whole. I use this every other month to every few months, depending upon how much the car is driven.Also consider todays emmissions control systems being more extensive, the commonality of turbocharged vehicles and GDI all being prone to carbon loading at the injectors and combustion chambers. Factors like these also contribute to carbon fouling.Next, skip penny pinching on the gas. In my area a "certain company's lab" has found greater than 20% ethanol in the fuel (when the sticker on the pump states "no more than 10% ethanol, even at what we used to consider "good brands"- granted, some of this is under ground tank maintenance at the station and individual factors like manufa turing variances, transport tank conditions and so forth). Contaminated fuel and/or too much ethanol contributes to a host of problems like lean conditions, hotter than normal combustion temps and even pre-ignition/spark knock). Avoid cheap gas!This is more of a maintanence product, but will clean up the majority of the fuel system on its own to a noticeable extent, depending upon internal conditions of your engine and how long its been let go.Depending upon vehicle, you may consider a qualified mechanic to do a fuel rail service and or induction service with the 3 can kit specifically for induction/intake service or the appropriate product to use for direct fuel rail service, a quality mechanic will guide you.All of their products are pro-grade, not shelf quality from a discount auto parts supplier.Remeber, this used to not be sold outside of professional shops. It IS the best and long has been.

I’ve used this product several times and each time I’ve used it, it has remedied the problem. 44K Platinum, on this purchase, fixed a sticking fuel gauge.Also great for cleaning out injectors and other fuel system components.It’s expensive. But, like I said Ive used it several times because I know how well it works.You will not get good gas mileage during the tank while it’s cleaning everything out. Afterwards, you may get better (or average) mileage. I’ve never received a code related to this treatment during or after usage.This is a great product and I highly recommend it, even given the cost, it is worth it rather than to manually do what this does.

Fast service. Great product. I have used in the past. Never had issues with BG products. This seller had no issues and I would purchase from them again!!

The independent mechanic where I get my vehicle serviced recommends BG products, so I decided to give 3 different ones a try -- 44K Platinum Fuel System Cleaner, CF5 Fuel System Cleaner, and MOA Engine Oil Supplement.The 44K is a "deep" cleaner, while the CF5 is more of a maintenance product. Consequently, I use 44K once a year, and the CF5 at every oil change. These products are supposed to fight the adverse effects that can be caused by the ethanol added to gasoline, as well as other “crud” that can foul fuel systems. It is hard to offer an objective opinion as to the effectiveness of the fuel system cleaners as I have never gathered data regarding changes in performance. There did appear to be a slight improvement in mileage when I began using them, but that is a subjective observation.I can say that the MOA Engine Oil Supplement does appear to have had a positive effect as I am no longer adding approximately half a quart of oil between changes. My repair shop says that it has seen engines burning large amounts of oil being "cured" by using this product.I have been using these products for a little over one year. Based on my mechanics recommendation, and my experience with the MOA product, I do recommend trying BG products. By the way, BG products are only available at professional repair shops, and here on Amazon from authorized re-sellers. One will not find them in the large auto parts stores.

Really helped my engine run better. Fuel mileage improvement remains to be seen, but the engine has definitely been running better since I put it in.

So for starters, I have never really been a big believer in these kinds of things, however this brand has been around since I was a kid. Thought I would try it. And it works initially it KILLED my gas mileage, but since I am getting 1 mpg better then before. So, it's a worthy investment.Please note you may see intermittent blue and white smoke but it will stop.

My car had slight hesitation on cold starts. After using BG 44K Platinum, the issue cleared up completely. Feels like the injectors got a good cleaning. Easy to use—just pour in the tank. I’ll be using this every oil change from now on.
