It Works!
I had never heard of these types of "staplers" before until our Parish Bulletins used them. I had to buy a couple for testing and this is one of the testing items I purchased (no free evaluation units here). From the photos, you can see I used several sheets of fairly thick binder paper (A6) and it held them well. Next, I tried several note cards (3x5) and it worked on them. These were not the thick note cards from brand name suppliers, but thinner, inexpensive card stock. It worked well. Bottom Line: Replace your metal staples for many tasks. This stapler should work on most tasks as I mostly need to bind several sheets together. A stack of paper would need something else, but this device is a great start.

Good idea but does not work
Good idea but needs to go further on the paper. Barely crimps the edge. Not more than 4 pieces of paper. Only worked a couple of weeks. It Quit after a few try’s.

Staple free paper organizing!
I Love it. No staples just a small crimp that you can barely see, works great for keeping my bills and stuff organized. Easy to separate with no damage to paper. I’ve used with up to 4 pages with it working perfectly, just make sure paper is all the way in and push lever completely.

Does the job for a few sheets of paper
This is a pretty cool stapler. I am a first grade teacher and I sometimes staple papers together but worry that my students will hurt by the sharp staples. This stapler eliminates that issue. The only problem is that the seal is right at the very edge of the pages. I just wish it was maybe a half-inch away the edge. Also, it can only "staple" up to five pages.

Works as advertised, but very small margin for error
Works great, when you can line it up properly. The paper needs to be pushed in as far back as possible to properly crimp it, and when done right it's still only a few millimeters from the edge. I feel like the part that cramps needs to be brought forward by a few more. It also advertises that it works on up to 5 sheets but the problem is less the holding power and more the aforementioned lining up the edges to the back of the stapler. With 3-5 sheets I often end up crimping on the edge because the sheets refuse to push all the way back.

Perfect
I love this little stapler, no more metal staples, and it doesn't make holes in the paper. I would like to get one that staples more than 5 pages, but can't find one.

Perfect for certain things
I had seen a mention of these once many years ago, but due to a particular filing project I need to start, I decided to go looking for one for myself and found this. I'm quite happy that I went with this particular model over the few other "stapleless staplers" on offer here. The build quality is surprisingly high, and even though parts of it are plastic, it's clear that the internal components have metal in them too, because its heft surprised me. It's not heavy, per se, but you can tell it's engineered well. 5 pages is really the max it can take, and it's much happier with 3-4. There is essentially some sort of spring mechanism inside so that you can't press too hard; it will click and you know you've successfully stamped the pieces together. Some paper types will handle this better than others. I've had a few pages tear off where crimped, but others hold together really well. On the whole, I think it is excellent for applications where you want one or two things to stick together but don't want to worry about pulling out staples later. The nice thing about this particular design, over some of the others that cut out an eyelet and loop that paper back into a slit, is that this style does allow you to easily separate sheets if you want to, but they will easily stay together if you don't ruff them up too much. I'm absolutely thrilled with this purchase.

Not functional
It’s made well but it barely staples due to where it presses into the paper. VERY odd placement..

This product is unique in Canada (meaning I have never seen it before for sale here). I was skeptical of its utility; however, after using it to attach bits of paper together that you want to keep together but don't want to have the associated bulk of a metal stapler, this worked exceptionally well. I have tried it with up to 6 sheets of approx 15 lb paper and it worked fine; despite the fact that it is only rated for 5 sheets. The device is heavy with a plastic cover with metal internals and handle. It is from Japan but made in China. The quality is very good. I use it to attach those flimsy bits of receipts together and regular 2 page statements together. The crimped paper hold is tight and creases the paper. It does not cut the paper. The depth (how deep it will go into the paper) is not a lot and maximum only about 2-3 mm but for my purposes it is GREAT.

Me encanta.
