HD5/28R Ceiling Fan Remote Control Kit

So relieved that we found this replacement remote for our older fan. The fan/light would not work and I was NOT going to disassemble the housing to poke around inside. Our old remote got wet. I took it apart and cleaned the corrosion, but it didn’t work.I popped batteries into this replacement, set the code toggles, and voila! It worked. Phew!

This control works just as you would expect. It looks just like the original. It came with a holder, but it fit the original holder already attached to the wall. No surprises, which is good.

Hey, it worked. What else can I say? No need to buy the branded hampton bay one. This has the same exact dip switch configuration and is a few dollars cheaper. It works!

Bought this to replace the aging remote control to my Hampton Bay ceiling fan. Just matched the dip switches on the new remote to the settings on the old remote and instantly worked. No more mashing the light button trying to turn the ceiling fan light on/off!

Price is a little steep for the products. I was in hurry so I bought the items.
