Great bargain for a basic scope
I purchased this scope to mount on a Kel-Tec SU-16 (5.56) to overcome the limitations of the inadequate factory iron sights and the challenges of shooting with a combination of nearsightedness and astigmatism. Having just bought the rifle and wanting a compact scope, but not wanting to commit to expensive optics right away, I couldn't argue with a price of $25 shipped. As it turns out, I may not have any need to upgrade to a more expensive scope unless it's for substantially more features. However, if you're considering this scope and seeing a lot of four- and five-star reviews, keep in mind that this is still an extremely basic model and thus pretty light on "bells and whistles" compared to more expensive scopes. That disclaimer aside, the value is incredible, especially considering that lens covers and mounting rings are included. The rings are on par with the $10-15 Weaver rings I've bought for scopes on other guns, and so far have been completely solid after roughly ~100 rounds. As others have said, adjustments are easy - no tools or coins required - and the eye relief is perfect even with prescription glasses on. The first time at the range with this scope, it did take quite a while to get sighted in, as it was shooting quite high. However, this was easily corrected, and the scope has held zero since then. For the aforementioned reasons, I'm not expecting to be incredibly accurate with ANY scope, but I am able to get consistent groupings from 100 yards with a bench and 50 yards without, and plan to try shooting under different conditions every chance I get. Follow-up shots are quick and easy (assuming you aren't shooting in near-darkness) and the reticle shows up quite well, although I personally don't have much use for a rangefinding reticle. I doubt I could do much better with a more expensive scope without getting new eyeballs, although I will probably try something with adjustable power and illumination eventually. The options for budget scopes increase dramatically at around the $40-60 range, not only from AIM Sports but also from NcStar, UTG/Leapers, Barska and numerous other manufacturers, but based on my experience with this scope, I would not have been disappointed paying twice as much for it. It's definitely a solid entry-level scope, especially if you want something compact for a carbine.

Good scope for very reasonable cost.
Bought this scope for a Marlin .22 rifle to replace a "normal" length 3-9x40 scope. I needed a shorter scope and this one seemed to fit the bill. It came with rings, but I guess I should have checked the Q&A's first, because the rifle had 3/8" dovetail mounting, and this scope came with a picatinny mount. No big deal, I just took the rings off the other scope, and that worked. One problem with this was, that the scope was positioned very forward on the rifle, and I had to lean in to the scope to get within the 2-3' eye relief. A few dry runs at home, and a standing position, didn't pose too big of a problem with relief, so I took the package to the range to get it sighted in. Took me a couple of mags worth to get it sighted in at about 20 yards (OK, about 50 rounds :)... ), but when I got it adjusted correct it was right on the money. I emptied one mag (10 rds) at bench rest, and I could cover all hits with a Quarter, which for me is pretty impressive, since I am by all accounts only an average shooter. One issue did come up, and it was the pesky eye relief. At bench rest it was hard to get my eye close enough to the scope, so I had to order a picatinny rail with an extended rail to mount on the dovetail. The will bring the scope a few inches back, and I can reuse the picatinny rings it came with. The scope is great for my use, and the cost is very reasonable. Others pointed out the fat cross hairs, and they are correct, but it isn't a problem for me. Please be aware of the eye relief when ordering, since this scope can only move 1/4" back and forth when seating it in the rings. I have added a photo so you can see the sight picture with the cross hair and range marks.

ok scope. Good for the price
Good little scope. i put it on my SKS and it does ok. The big disadvantage to this is the reticle is different then most so its not easy to just switch to.

Perfect for Savage Rascal
As another reviewer has mentioned, this scope is 100% perfect for the popular "Rascal" .22 youth rifle because of its light weight, short overall length, and short eye relief. The eye relief distance is so short that I would never put this rifle on a full-size rifle. It is way too short for a grown adult's gun or a hard-kicking centerfire rifle, but perfect for a kid's .22. The optics quality are very clear for such an inexpensive scope, and the windage and elevation knobs seem to work well. Ours has held its zero after a couple years of being bumped around in occasional use. My only advice is to ditch the high mount rings that come with the scope, as they will set the scope up ridiculously high on the Rascal: way too tall for the boy or girl to have a proper cheek weld against the stock. I used some inexpensive Weaver "medium height" rings in combination with Savage's scope bases designed for the rascal (Savage product 70459 also available on Amazon) and mounted the rings with the nut on the left side of the action so as to not interfere with the bolt handle. The result was a scope as low as you can go while still allowing the user to work the bolt. You do have to remove the rear sight, but it's worth it to get the scope as low as possible.

Good compact low budget scope, but not the best quality!
So I purchased this scope a few months ago(about 4.5) to mount and use on my Ruger 10/22. I didn't want a super high quality scope since its only a .22LR caliber and I dont plan to use it for anything other than plinking. It did not mount to the stock rail that was on my rifle, even when I adjusted the scope rings so that the bolts fell into the slots on the rail. Okay, weird, many said it fits with the stock rail, but no problem, I ordered another aftermarket picatinny rail for the 10/22. The scope mounted on that one perfectly. I used a vise and made sure it was on there properly leveled. FINALLY, I get to actually go outside and use it. First impressions were pretty good. for a $30 scope the glass was really clear. Much better than I thought. The etched reticle was also a nice and the rangefinder was definitely pretty cool, I've never owned a scope with one before. I zeroed it in with a few shots, and it was right on the money. I'm talking 50 yards and easily hitting shotgun shells and small 1" sticky targets on the bullseye. AWESOME! Easily shot sub MOA. I was in love. Only took me a few minutes to sight in and the built in handles for the elevation and windage made it a breeze, no extra tools needed! I capped the turrets and off I went. I put maybe 1500 rds through it since getting it setup in late April. Its not a rifle I used a lot, but when it would come out with me to the range, it would see maybe 150-200 rds in that short time span. Yesterday I went out and we were having fun shooting, and on the last 35 rds I noticed somethign odd happened, the scope went out of focus. Hm... I thought maybe my contact got dried out and moved around in my eye, nope. It was the scope, I could still see the targets, but they looked blurry and grainy.. I let my friend take a look, and he confirmed he saw the same thing, I tried southpaw just to be 100% sure and noticed the same thing while using my good eye that I dont need corrective lenses for. I think that one of the glass bits inside has moved out of place, which threw off the focal point inside it, and it is now out of focus. I tried using the adjustments on the scope for + and - just out of curiosity, but they did nothing. I never even noticed a difference with that when I first got the item, so I think it's just more of a placebo... Overall, for $30 this is a pretty good scope. I loved it in the beginning after finally getting it mounted, leveled, and zeroed. Great for a .22LR. It was a tack driver! The only downside was the short life span. I didn't expect it to outlive me or my rifle, afterall it was worth about an hours time at work, but I also didn't expect it to break within the first year, especially since I didn't shoot the thing everyday! I'd recommend it to people, but be weary of what you are buying. Don't go hard on this thing, and don't perform super rapid fire with it mounted. I think that's what caused it to break on me as I ran through the 25rd mag in less than a few seconds. If you are getting this to use on an airsoft or air rifle, I'm sure it will hold up and work just fine. You get what you pay for! Can't say I'm upset I bought it, it was awesome while it lasted!

Perfect for the money.
Here's the deal: I love iron sights. I'm an expert marksman and have no problem using the stock sights on my Smith & Wesson M&P 15 in .223 in a competitive manner. I recall once being at a public range with it, and sitting next to me was some gear head with a high speed reflex or red dot sight trying to hit a used shotgun shell at 30 yards. I let him go for 10 rounds or so, and during his reload I made his target disappear with one shot. He wasn't happy. Now, I use my AR for deer hunting, and sometimes I have to make shots where the front sight post covers half the animal. So, this year, I thought I would try a scope just for kicks. Since I prefer iron sights, I didn't want to spend a lot, nor did I really want a fancy scope with all the bells and whistles. So this was a perfect option. This is a sturdy scope. It's sitting on a 1 inch riser. No locktite, just super tightened down screws, and it has lasted 36 shots so far, (including a half inch 6 shot grouping at 25 yards). Out of the box, the scope is well aligned in the rings and ready to mount. Just find your ideal eye relief, tighten down, and go. The adjustments can be used with your fingers, no quarters required. Haven't taken down a deer with it yet, but I have no doubt it will perform well. We shall also see how long it holds up to moisture. Will update when I find out more.

A total waste.
I read the reviews. And it all seemed great. I loved the way it looks on my rifle. That is wear it ends. I wasted more in ammo than this p.o.s is worth. The first time I brought it out and shot it, I figured out it was nonadjustable with your fingers. Three grown men tried to turn the adjusting nobs and none of us could do it. So I went out and got a cheap pair of pliers. It turned but, the plastic nobs were easily destroyed but it was fairly easy to adjust from there on out. The next range trip, I brought my pliers and tried to adjust on to paper. It just wouldn't happen. For all I tried the damn thing wouldn't go down. All my shots were high. So in the spirit of not giving up I tried one more time yesterday with my father and best friend. It only got worse. We wasted a ton of ammo trying to adjust it. But it seemed like every other shot would knock it off and we couldn't even tell where we where hitting. Eventually we figured out it was still shooting high. This thing has earned a honorary trip to the garbage can. I was using an sks (7.62X39 mm). So the only gun I'd recommend putting this on is a .22 if you can find the paper.

For $24 Bucks You CANNOT Beat This!
Even at first blush the price for this thing is ridiculously low, but when it arrived I can see it is an even better value than expected! The finish is a nice, matte black, no chips or scratches. At about 7.5" long it's the perfect size for an AR platform, and the 4x32 spec is really ideal for someone who needs a magnified optic that is truly "point and shoot" without fiddling with dials first. It incorporates a center cross hair with with mil-dot ticks and stadiametric, rangefinding reticle that is a very fast way to assess target range - again without dial fiddling. The scope comes with low-mount rings which won't be useful to the average AR user but they can be swapped out onto a platform suitable and they are quite sturdy, with fast-movement hex nuts that also have a through-hole for snugging up or breaking free. It also comes with an extensive user manual, wrench, spare mount screw, cleaning cloth, and lens covers...not too shabby for less than $25! The image appears clear and bright, and the lenses appear to be fully coated...at least I could not find and "bright spots" while aiming the scope off-set from a bright light source. The only POTENTIALLY negative thing is the reticle is "thick" and might be bothersome to some, yet others will enjoy the fast pick up such a bold reticle provides. Considering few will ever use this scope much beyond 100 meters there is no issue with the reticle blocking out the target. Overall an outstanding value.

Amazing a must guy!
i bought this scope for my airsoft gun (m4) witch i guess is more like a ar15 now ;) but the scope is very clear and comes with a transparent lens cap so you can still see through the scope with the caps on. the cap that is closest to your eye is tinted yellow, um not to sure why, it would make more sense to put the tinted side on the other end of the scope to prevent glare. the scopes rings are fully movable, it comes with a lens cleaner, lens caps, allen wrench instruction manual, and a extra screw for the rail mount.and the box it is packaged in is very nice and worth keeping.

Cool scope, works well enough!
Great, compact little unit. Fits perfectly well and the adjustment dials have little finger grips to save the use of any tools during sighting. Only got four stars as I'm rather unsure if this guy is holding sighting all that well.

Great Compact scope
I purchased this for my daughters .22 Savage Rascal rifle and it fit perfectly and is a very easy to use and zero in scope. A great purchase for the price paid...Awesome scope.

Okay, not exactly a fine wire scope but it is cheap after all
Not bad though at the reticle is not as fine as wire cross-hairs (I assume from the shape of this it is not made of wire but might be wrong). Not great on a rimfire; might be more suited to a crossbow.

For the price, I cannot complain. It does the job on my SKS.
