Does this fit k4? And how do I remove and fit this

Yes it fits K4 (replaced when plastic one split), didn't use big black plastic bit as old one okay. To remove broken component (prior to fitting new metal one) remove metal "staple" with a screwdriver, it's a tight fit but it comes out with a wiggle, then simply swap over (push in tight) and replace "staple".

Does this not come with the pin that locks the hose into the metalic elbow?

we had a similar problem you have to make sure the clip is in the right place the hose does not push quite as far as you think

What lubricant should be used where the metal part meets the plastic nozzle exiting the pressure washer?

i didn't use any lube, just fitted the new elbow in place and it is still working perfectly today (8 months later)
