Serious Stuff
Used it to hold a bearing in place in a worn out spot. It’s been working so far.

Worked perfectly
To be honest, ive never heard of this particular type (620), until a friend suggested i get it after my Jeep was taken in twice for the same axle seal leak, and never resolved. I bought this, and applied it with new bearing and seal, and it took care of the problem. Good stuff.

Too Strong?
I purchased the Loctite 620 without having a particular application in my mind. I simply wanted to have it in my garage because I know how frustrating loose fitting bearings are. I used it only once, so far. The gap was so large that the bearing was able to slide around the shaft just by gravity. The result was beyond my expectations. The bond is so strong that I will not be able to remove this bearing without a hammer when I will need to replace it again. I felt lucky for also having bought the Loctite Bearing Mount Stick, together with the 620. I will use the latter for tighter fitting bearings. Also, having seen what the diametrical gap filling capacity of 0.015” (0.381 mm) of the Loctite 620 means, together with its sheer strength of 3800 psi; I now realize that it is not a general purpose, cure-all type of stuff. Lower strength and/or reduced gap filling capacity may come in handy in tighter fitting applications. Next time, I will also pay more attention to temperature range. In short, Loctite bearing mounts seem to be serious stuff so beware of their specifications when choosing the right one for a particular application.

Used to Secure Front Sight on Pew
I used this loctite to secure a front sight on a firearm. After taking it to the range and doing a bit of expensive shooting, the barrel was hot, the slide was hot, and the loctite(ed), if that's a word, sight was still "welded" perfectly. Also, now I have enough for at least several hundred (thousand?) more front sights, as this only took one drop to secure it. This could be sold in a 1oz bottle but then they wouldn't make all that money off of us.
