very pointy
I purchased these to replace a pair that I have. The pointy one makes me feel like i'm going to cut or stab myself. The other one just isn't what I want. The rounded portion just seems to big. Maybe I will get used to them.

Pandemic home barbering vastly improved!

Better quality than I expected.
They are great for daily trimming. The blades fit nicely together, the joint is tight and they cut VERY well. They are quiet when they cut...no "snipping" sound like with others I've used in the past. Not sure why that is, but I like it.Overall, you can't go wrong with these.

For pups hair trimming around the eyes
I got these to trim the hair around my dogs eyes. They are perfect, pups def more at ease getting a trim with these than a large pAir of scissors coming at her face!Very pleased with this product, sharp. Gets the job done fast which is what I was exactly looking for.

shiny, but useless
The listing images show a recessed screw -- that is certainly not the case with either pair. The rounded-tip pair would not cut at all until the screw was tightened. However, the screw immediately loosens upon using the scissors -- I'm gonna say that pair is worthless.The curved-tip pair works much better with respect to the leverage action, but neither pair is appreciably sharp. And I think once the screw works it way loose, this pair will also be unusable.But, that's just my experience. I expect the loose tolerance these are machined with will give everyone a different experience. I feel the same way about another pair of scissors I've recently purchased from ONTAKI: I will not be purchasing this brand again.

Just what I needed to have close at hand in our master bathroom. Good for clipping unwanted hair and just the right size for removing bandages,
