Jim Gaffigan: King Baby

I love Jim Gaffigan and watch all his comedy specials. I think when he jokes about his 5 kids, it just makes him more endearing. His specials are always a hit with me.

Gaffigan has his moments when he elicits a giggle or a laugh from me but at other times I wish he'd forgo overuse of his whispery voice. I know it's part of his trademark, but it does start to grate on the nerves after a while. I will say that I appreciate that I can watch it without cringing every few minutes over excessive foul language or ridiculously crude comments. I will continue to watch his routines because despite his slight annoyances he is one of the few comedians that can make me laugh. Him and Brian Regan.

We Love Jim Gaffigan (our favorite comic) and we were looking for a stand up routine we hadn't seen. We ran across this one. As always, he made us laugh through out. It wasn't our favorite, but it was still totally worth the watch. Sidenote: I was surprised this was not a part of Amazon Prime Viewing. I understand new releases etc being extra, but really, a comedy routine? If it wasn't Jim, we wouldn't have paid for it after having paid the Prime fee. You're a funny man Jim Gaffigan, I hope you decide to come to the Portland Or area soon!

Jim Gaffigan's comedy shows prove without a doubt, that you don't have to say the F-word (or other unsavoury words) hundred times to be funny. I've seen all of his shows (streaming) so many times that I can say the lines before he does. Unfortunately I have never seen him in person but if he ever comes to phoenix I will be there! He makes me laugh because he talks about real life things that everyone goes through. I love how he uses the "inner voice" because he draws me even further into his act. I love, love, love him!

Love this guy. He is as comfortable and familiar to watch as a cranky, hilarious uncle or a clueless brother-in-law.I like his observational humor. You can watch his show with your mom and you'll both have a great time.I own all his shows...lend them out...sometimes I get them back. Thanks Jim, for being you...don't change.

I really do enjoy it when I find a comedian I can just sit back and laugh at/with. And Jim Gaffigan is one of those comedians. I also really enjoy the sense of camaraderie one gets when you watch,because you know he's a fellow dork. Having seen both 'Beyond the Pale' and 'King Baby' I will say I like the former more than the latter, but that doesn't mean that this doesn't make my sides ache with laughter, because there are still some parts that truly leave you aching to breathe!

Jim Gaffigan is hands down the best standup comedian in todays market.He speaks absolutely clean humor with no swear words or suggestive humor.Even a 13 year old can understand and enjoy his humor.Why is it that so many other commedians must us the f---word and other foullanguage to prop up their inability to make people laugh without it. It ispathetic!Gaffigan has your laughing several times in the first 60 seconds, and can keepan audience engaged for a full hour non stop. He is one of a kind. I will buyevery standup routine he does from now on!!

I love Jim Gaffigan and think his routine is right on. He's funny without being vulgar and offensive. I think the dvd cost about $10+/- which seems a little pricey since you're not getting a whole lot but about a 1-hour act. There are plenty of bonus features but they didn't seem too interesting. I got all 3 of his dvds and I recommend watching them in order since he gets funnier with time.

I bought all three of Jim Gaffigan's dvds off Amazon and we have thoroughly enjoyed every one of them! He puts a hilarious spin on everyday life in a family friendly way. My husband, our 14 year old son and I all laughed uproariously at his dvds. The dvds work great, no problems or complaints. An excellent buy! Highly recommend this product.

Discovered Jim Gaffigan on Youtube and was immediatly drawn to his comedic abilitoes. This guy is hilarious!!!!! I've seen some sketches 4 or 5 times and I still laugh! Can't wait to get Beyond the pale. He is truly funny even if sometimes is from telling a stupid joke.

Jim Gaffigan is one of the best at his craft, he delivers an evening of laughs on everyday topics that you can relate to immediately.Enjoyed the disc greatly.
