I love the smell of this conditioner. I have an English cream golden retriever and since he was a puppy I’ve used the tropiclean whitening shampoo and this conditioner. I don’t know if it helps with the shedding (he’s a golden after all), but it leaves his coat feeling soft, not greasy. He’s never had any skin issues using this brand. I even use the tropiclean fragrance mist if he’s been outside and comes in smelling like dog. My husband’s even said to me the other day when I walked into our home office “you smell good” not realizing the dog had followed me in and it was him that smelled good! Hahaha!

Great product. I use both Shampoo and conditioner my dogs coats are so shiny after using this. Oh and the smell is wonderful

I have a 95lb white German shepherd in Texas and it is shedding season. He sheds year round but this time of year it’s awful and we’ve tried it all. Specialty undercoat brushes, vacuum brushes, furminator shampoo, you name it. The furminator baths do an excellent job at the groomer where they can blow dry him but when I use it at home, it doesn’t seem to make a big enough difference to justify using it over a shampoo with a soothing oatmeal formula that’s nice on the skin. So I thought I’d try a conditioner. If you’re reading this, chances are you have a dog with a double coat so you know their top coat is incredibly thick and coarse so their undercoat clings to it well after it should have fallen off. It stands to reason that a conditioner would help smooth it out and make it easier to get out with a brush. Well we tried it for the first time last night. I brushed him before bathing which I have been slacking on so there was a lot of fur, more so than usual. I filled up the trash can and thought I did a good job of getting most of it out before his bath. I was wrong. After brushing, I went in first with an oatmeal shampoo and did a good long scrub which always pulls out a lot of his shed. Then I went in with this conditioner. I used a pretty generous amount because we have insanely hard water so it’s hard to work up a lather with anything. As soon as I started working it into his fur, the shed started melting away. Not literally, of course, but it sure seemed that way with how it started falling off of him. And I honestly don’t have words to describe the way it all came out once I started rinsing. The bathroom was a mess afterwards. Post shower, the shed was still coming out in clumps. I don’t have a good blow dryer for him and at this point he’s been patient with me for over two hours so for the most part, I let him air dry. That was last night so we are now on day one post bath and my house is absolutely covered in fur. I’ve brushed him a few times and it’s still not done coming out. It’s probably going to be an uncomfortable week of shedding for him but I’m excited to see the results in a few days. That said, this is not the product to use before going somewhere or entertaining. If you’re at your wits end with the insane amounts of fur, this might not be a good thing for you right now. It’s only the beginning. Our first 24 hours have been really promising but it’s probably going to be 2-3 weeks of living in a snow globe before I feel comfortable having people over and cooking for them. While my house and dog do smell good, the clumps of shed coming off of him make his fur look matted and dirtier than when we started. And did I mention it looks like it is snowing in my house? That isn’t saying much because it always looks that way but maybe, just MAYBE, I can go a day without vacuuming this summer. Only time will tell.

I have an Akita, and anyone who owns one knows how intense their shedding can be—especially during coat blowouts. After trying TropiClean Deshedding Dog Conditioner for about a month, I can honestly say it’s helped a lot. Her undercoat feels softer, and I’m seeing much less fur around the house and on furniture. The tropical scent is light and pleasant, not too strong, and it leaves her coat shiny and fresh. The only downside is that the conditioner is a little runny, so I have to use more than expected for full coverage on a thick double coat. But it rinses out easily and doesn’t leave any residue. Overall, a really good product that helps keep my Akita’s shedding under control and her coat looking great!

Smells fantastic- a long lasting amazing sent and the rich thick and lathery shampoo really penetrates the coat to the skin- you MUST make sure your pet is completely wet 2 the skin then use the shampoo- rinse and conditioner gets massaged in while using a ZOOM GROOM you can begin to brush the wet hair out as the conditioner is still on- your pet will love this part- then as you begin to rinse the conditioner continue to brush your pet while this works great for removing a massive amount of dead hair this is best for any pet who sheds a lot not for a long hair single coat breed or curly coat dog- Be sure to get your pet as dry as possible with towel and or dryer this is the most critical step to get your pet to look and smell like it was just at the groomer. This shampoo and conditioner is my number one choice over all others. (Though I wildly miss the old oatmeal and baking soda smell) this is a close second and my new number one by default .

I’m so happy that my order arrived so fast (THANK YOU AMAZON AND TROPICLEAN) I have to say that I have been looking for a shampoo/conditioning spray etc line for my English Bulldog Capone! Now with that being said I have to be extremely careful with ANYTHING that goes on his skin and that he eats,plays with etc I mean he can ONLY EAT BROWN RICE AND CHICKEN. English Bulldogs are extremely Sensitive and there skin is affected by diet,treats,toys,air quality. With that being said he gets groomed but in between those grooming appointments I have been trying to find a line like I said that would work for him and be safe. Well I FOUND MY NEW HOLY GRAIL!!!!!! TROPICLEAN HAS EVERY THING IM LOOKING FOR THIS CONDITIONER ARRIVED AND I BATHED HIM W HIS SHAMPOO BY TROPICLEAN FOLLOWED BY THIS AMAZING MOISTURIZING CONDITIONER AND THE SPRAY I GOT AS WELL, but this conditioner left his fur feeling so soft and smooth and smelling soooo good! I didn’t have to use much and he weighs in about 67 pounds solid. A little went a long way. It cleansed him and conditioned his fur snd skin. The smell is awesome (no more skinky dog as I tell him lol) He smells tropical 🏝 lol It’s awesome I definitely recommend for any pet specially if it works well w my dog who is so hyper sensitive. This whole line is SUPER GREAT! I highly recommend

For the money I think this brand is overpriced. It’s good, but jk better than any average conditioner out there for half the price.

This brand is garbage, i will not ever use it again. It only adds to the gross stench of my dog, did not remove the smell at all. Any other brand is better then this one.
