Okay I purchased this product knowing full well I was getting what i was paying for, a cheap amp. But if it was even half of what it said it was it would do just fine for me. I have 2 subs, one is a 10" and one is a 12", and they are both DVC 1100watt (400 RMS). At first I wired the subs in parallel and gave both subs their own channel (2 channel amp), as I thought this would get the best result. It did get them going but it wasn't "rattle the car" strong which i know these subs could do. Then I did a little more research and wired the subs in Series, then bridged Both subs together (both sub Neg- to 1st channel Neg-, and both sub pos+. to 2nd channel pos+) and OMG. This Amp is definitely worth the money. All the people that say this thing barely moves their sub.... Didnt hook it up right, simple as that. Do your research, find out the best way to wire your speakers to the kind of amp you have to get the most watts from it, Get the right Gauge Amp kit for your amp, and with this 5K watt amp, a capacitor is needed. if you did it right you will know. The most i have ran the amp in one session was an Hour and it was barley hot, next trip i take i will see how long it takes to over heat. This Amp isn't Fancy and doesn't have a bunch of lights and cool modern looks, But I would trade all that fancyness for a few more watts and a solid amp, which is exactly what this is. I was kinda disapointed the right side negative terminal does not work I think the wiring in the back of the terminal was fault so I just bridged the 2nd sub with the 3rd and 4th the 1st sub on the left side terminals worked just fine it pushes so much power I have 2 kicker comp cvr 12s rated at 1000watts and 2 15in pyle blue waves at 1500watts each and slams way to hard even after adjusting it. Quick tip though that i did to make more power out of this amp pull the 30amp fuses and replace them with 50amp you allow the amp to draw more power but be warned you will need an extra battery and at least a 2.5 to 3 farad capacitor.

I bought this amp before reading the reviews, most of which were negative, so I was worried that I got myself a lemon of an amp. While it may boast an output of 5000 watts, the experienced person would know better that it will not. I have installed the amp to a 5 farad capacitor connected to two 4 ohm 1000 watt dual voice coil 15 inch subwoofers by Plye. I wired the dual voice coils to a 2 ohm output for maximum efficiency. I would have wired the woofers to a 1 ohm output but the amp is not stable at 1 ohm bridged. The amp is stable at 2 ohms per channel at about 500 watts rms power output. I will vouch for the amp in that it does put out enough power to drive two 15 inch subs with out distortion. You will not need to use the bass boost function. The amo is a great buy, does the job well, easy to install. Those that gave it a bad review I guess don't know how to hook up an amp or wire speakers. So go ahead and buy the amp. You will not be disappointed if you know what you are doing.

If you are looking for nice clean deep sounding bass. DO NOT..... Buy this amp. 5000 watts?????? more like 500 watts. My 15 year old 800w sony xplod amp pushes more watts and sounds so much cleaner bass is so much deeper then this amp.Also it gets hot in the matter of minutes how long it takes to cut off? I'm not sure. Couldn't handle the horrible sound long enough.

Got a lot of BANG from this amp... Bought and installed this bad boy in March... It is September and buddy is still going strong with NO CLIPPING or OVERHEATING... ADVICE: USE 4 gauge or BIGGER For BOTH YOUR POWER and GROUND WIRES... Your amp will burn up trying to push BIG power thru SMALL wires... Don't be scared to stuff those BIG wires into the SMALL space use tape or make a divider that will stay in place to keep the wires from touching... add a 100w fuse and this amp will take care of whatever you give it... Pushing two 12' Boss 1800w per sub/ 900w RMS per sub... only on 1 channel!!! With plenty of power left to play with... ADVICE: DON'T SIMP ON THE SPEAKER WIRE EITHER 12 gauge or bigger will do you good... REMEMBER... BREAK IT IN FIRST... After that you will hardly have any maintenance other than fine tuning it to your liking... Great buy at an even greater price... Get this amp now before the maker realize how good their product is and jack the price way high!!!

Been a great amp but due to the negative on the amp being small and me having a 0 gauge wire couldn't get it to fit like od like eventually I melted the negative out the amp from not having enough connection but still it lasted a few months can't complain

Ok like most ppl in the reviews befor me I to was disappointed. I have to 12 inch Impp subs in my car that I use to have hooked up to my west coast custom 800 wat amp. When I saw the 5000 wat amp here and for the cheep price it had, I figured it will be better than the amp I have now either way it goes, so I ordered it. I just received it today ( may,11,2012 ) and I wired it up using the 3000 wat amp wire kit that I was using with my old amp, and when I cut it on and turnd it up it was alot louder but the bass was hiting just a lil bit lower then the 800 wat amp I had. So I was like damn I should of took the advice from the reviews and not order it. Then right as I was in my lil slum mood. I started to read the owners manual that came with the amp. In it, it tells you step by step on how to wire the amp to your liking. And I like a lot of bass! So I read were it said to hook up the bass to "mono subwoofer mode" were I wire up my speaker wire to the 3 and 4 channel. And then I tryed it again and all I can say is woooowwww!!! Its hiting way way harder then my old amp, I had everyone on my block coming outside and looking around. I say its a great buy for its price and I'm very happy with it until I feel the need to upgrade more

awsome amp. the only thing is the power in hook up is too small for the size of cable needed. i used old jumper cables as my in line source.The delivery to the door in Canada was 2 days awsome. Thanks Jeff B

This amp doesnt put out no 5000 watts of clear sound i can't get it to putnout anything but static and i have it hooked up correctly with power on one side of vehicle and rca inputs on the other distorted static is all get bridged at 4 ohms amd mono at 2 ohms
