Great help to watch my phone on a big screen
This HDMI Wireless Display Receiver works great to mirror what's on your smart phone or tablet to TV, not limited to TV, it work with most HDMI display such as projector, monitor, etc. I tested it with iPhone, it works good. However, there are many inexpensive adapters that behave differently. Setup was easy, plugging the USB into an external power adapter to power on the receiver and switching to HDMI channel, there came a MiraScreen on my TV. I paired MiraScreen wifi on my phone and used Apple’s airplay protocol to cast my phone. It took what was on the screen of my phone to TV. Wifi network was not necceasry by this way. However, as Youtube is only supported to be streaming. So I downloaded EZMira app to connect the receiver to wifi network. As long as both your phone and the wireless display receiver are on the same wireless network, streaming YouTube videos worked pretty fine. Got better experiences than a low price mirroring adapters.

Waste of money, doesn't work
Doesn't work. I got it connected to my wifi, and it shows up as an option to cast to, but when I try to mirror my tablet to it, the connection never completes. Save your money.

Smooth Casting and Outstanding Customer Support
I’ve been using the SmartSee HD Wireless Display Receiver to cast my phone to the TV via WiFi and AirPlay, and it works really well—no delay and very smooth streaming. At one point, I tried casting from a specific app but couldn’t see the mirror ID. I reached out to customer support, and they were extremely helpful and responsive. We even had a video call, and they patiently helped me troubleshoot the issue. It turned out the app itself had restrictions on casting. As a workaround, they recommended using the EZMira app to connect to the WiFi network, and that solution worked perfectly. Overall, I’m very satisfied with both the product performance and the excellent customer support.

Mixed bag
Received item in a shrink wrapped package, and packaging appeared brand new. However, when unpacked, item had small scratch across top and had finger smudges all over. This was my first miracast-type device, so the instructions were somewhat (very) confusing. The video quality was good, and I had no problem with connections with either 2.4G/5G. Video streamed from either the Android phone or tablet with no issues. But then I attempted to update the Firmware, as it was prompting me for an update every time I'd visit the settings page, and hit a snag. The firmware download will stop at 19%, regardless of 2.4G vs 5G. Reboots, factory resets, USB power supplies - nothing would make firmware download past 19% mark. Support was not much help, since they recommended pretty much same steps I already tried. (I was really hoping support would tell me that firmware release was a corrupt and change in firmware version would fix the issue, since I really wanted to keep this device.) So, this device is going back by Prime.

Works but very difficult to install.
Confusing as hell to get it working. I’m fairly technical so it should have been simple. Nope. Be prepared to spend some time with this one. Scan the QR code, to get it on your phone or laptop, install instructions are vague and frustrating. But it does work.

Not a good quality.
After just about a year it's already not working right. Lots of disturbances of the picture and audio. Every second day I have to disconnect the dongle otherwise it doesn't connect. I wished I could get my money back. It worked very well for about 6 months when it went already bad. I have to find a new one that hopefully works a lot longer.

Connected a new TV in remote area with no wireless
Works very well, added this to a TV in an area that does not have wireless, so can use my cellphone to stream on the new TV. Solved a frustrating problem, very happy with this!!

Works, kind of, but badly documented and supported.
The device works, at least it worked eventually. It literally took me all of 1 day to set it up and get it working. The instructions in the package were ludicrously simple and unhelpful. This newish version of the product is not even listed on the manufacturers web site. There is NOTHING about it on the support site/pages. The required app is just as unhelpful and poorly documented. Casting from my iPhone pretty much works, but if there is a way to do horizontal mode, as hinted in the info I could find, I can’t find how to do it. Casting from my iPad is spotty at best. Sometimes it has worked, but streaming content is spotty, hangs, and often just crashes out.
