Yes it does. I have had no problem playing DVDs or BlueRay discs

does it have composite video/audio ouput?

This does NOT have composite video/audio outputs. HDMI only.

Play button on top of unit doesn't work with Blu Ray (only DVD), forcing you to use the remote for Blu Rays. Is our unit defective or is this normal?

It sounds defective. Our button plays the BluRay.

is this multivoltage? works on 110 and 220v?
