Jensen JTA-475 3-Speed Turntable with CD, Cassette & AM/FM Stereo Radio

This is my second time around with the Jensen JTA-475 Stereo! Got first one in Oct. 2015. Had over all good luck with this unit! There have been positive upgrades in past 11 years. Speakers are much better now for sure. There is now pitch control on turntable, and there are 5 EQ settings to choose from (I like C and J the best). It is up to you guys. For a bookshelf stereo with: CD player, Turntable, Cassette player, Am/Fm Radio, it works quite well. This is great for apartment, Office, Family Room, etc. I do not think this would work well for music that requires really loud bass or metal music, but over all it is very nice and a decent price! The turntable, cd and cassette all have a good sound. The only thing I really don't care for is the cassette loads on the left side and only has fast forward. Other than that, it is a good deal. The only reason I am going with a new one is the CD drawer decided to stop working one day. But even so....I do recommend this stereo!

I got this for my Mom, she loves it, the simple remote and the sound suits her perfect. Setup was super simple. It's a very compact unit so it doesn't take up much room at all. If you're an audiophile, this unit isn't the best, but for the needs of what and who I got it for, it's perfect. The unit does have a great appearance. I haven't tried the bluetooth as she probably won't use it.

Old school buttons and knobs no Bluetooth connect ability, which is what my Dad wanted. Needs better speakers. Can always purchase later, but we knew that going in to it. Wish it had a three or multi disc. Changer. Again we knew that going in to it. Pleased with purchase.

I am a first time owner of a record player. I'm from the CD/MP3 generation, with parents in the vinyl generation. I became interested in vinyl records seeing that some of my favorite artists still recorded on vinyl. I thought buying this item and records in the future would make for some valuable collectables. I want to break my ratings down in to record/CD/player & AM/FM, speakers, and delivery & setup.Record player, CD player, Cassette player, & AM/FM players all work great. Very impressed with the design and the ease of usage on this item also. just plug it in, throw on the record and crank the volume. Rugged design, doesn't seem like it will break any time soon. 10/10The speakers are great, but they don't blow me away. I can sense the bass, they are clear and plenty loud enough. 9/10This item was delivered in approximately 7 days, as I chose the free shipping. Happy with the speed of the delivery, package came and nothing was broken. Like I said before, I took it out, plugged it in, and cranked it up. 10/10I love this thing so far. It gives me a reason to spend money A.K.A. support my favorite bands. No static, this thing sounds great. Also for the price, you can NOT beat this thing on the market. I will recommend this to any body.

If you're into Heavy Metal/Hard Rock, heed this review:I bought this turntable after my Optimus Lab-1100 would not stop humming. Believe me I tried it all to get rid of that hum and nothing worked. Anyways, I turned my attention to the JTA-475 because of the price and multi-functionality. Of course before buying it I checked every major retailer (online/full-line stores) and no one really had any "huge" problems with it. So I bought it and it arrived at my home in about three business days.Right out of the box, everything came nicely packaged and seemingly new. It even had a quaint smell to it. Setting up was insanely easy and took me about five minutes. Plugged it in, put a record in, hit play, and everything was fine.Well.. everything was fine until I started playing different records. I have a lot of heavy metal and hard rock records and the only way I could describe their sound quality on this turntable was absolute garbage. On any given song, it would produce these infrequent high-frequency sounds that would just murder my ears. Any squealing guitar solo, any high-register scream, and even cymbals/rides would just sound the worst to the ear. A good description would be: screeching. After finding that flaw I immediately packed it back up and sent it back.My Jethro Tull and AC/DC records seemed fine, but when I put on the heavier stuff like Metallica, Cauldron, or Repugnant the in-capabilities of this device became obvious.Also, the tape-deck didn't work, CD player seemed fine, and I didn't get a chance to try out the tuner. The speakers were ok by me and the whole device fit nicely on a small desk in my room.Overall, I would not recommend this to anyone. Great price, bad product. I guess I'm just going to save up a couple hundred and buy a turntable that actually does what it's supposed to do. "You get what you pay for."

This little stereo system is perfect for a smaller area. I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for a whole house or large room stereo. As mentioned in some of the reviews, it is not a super loud system. The digital volume control goes up to 30. But for my purposes, for use in a sewing room, it is perfect. It is nice looking and functions properly. The sound is crisp and clear. For the money, I am very happy with it.

I bought it to use in my home. I wanted one with a turntable because I have several albums I've kept over the years. I also wanted a unit that played CD's' AM & FM radio. This unit was the size I was looking for and the color too. When I took it out of the box I noticed right away that the cover for the turntable was cracked in 2 or more places. I felt I would live with that since I bought it used. After it was assembled and I tested it out the tray to the CD player wouldn't open. I tried to hold the open button down and it did open real slow and jerky. I was able to close it with a CD in it but it wouldn't play, so I was able to get the CD back out but I haven't been able to open it since. I'm returning it for a refund. I hate to return it cause I really like it and it fits perfect on my desk and the sound is great. I don't want another used but I want to save up the money to buy it new.I can't tell you how much I like it, it fits all my needs.

I admit I was a little skeptical about purchasing this stereo component. After repeated use, I am very happy I purchased it. The sound is excellent and just what I need for condo living. So far, everything is working perfectly--the tape player, the record player, and the CD player. Particularly delighted to have a record player again. Had not listened to my vinyl records for years until now. The remote is not particularly sophisticated--has not power button but other than that, it does the job. Even the radio works well. However, just to be safe I also purchased the 3 year service plan. Hope I do not have to use it.

Muy buen reproductor, puedo escuchar mis CDs, Vinyles y casettes sin problema

The compact is good i have only one issue is the speakers could be better impedence . Improve the output quality
